WASHINGTON -- The Capitol Steps, an ensemble that entertains Washington with political satire that often is indistinguishable from the news, begins its current show with a public address announcement advising the audience to note where the auditorium's exits are.

George Will is a punk. Sarah 2012.
Nonsense. Obama will lead the charge to hand out spoils to his cronies.
Effete George hasn't a clue as to why Gov. Palin energized the conservatives in this country.
She stands for exactly those same ideals that our Founders and Reagan cherished. A fact effete George can't manage to notice whilst he's kneeling down and licking the bottoms of Obama's boots.
Ad hominem: I hate George Will and his bowtie.
Thanks bow-tie George Will. You were my last-minute reading material as I board the plane for AK after years of Goldberg, Stein, Sowell tutelage.
Yep. He should have stuck to writing about baseball.
Oh, George, yes, we are all in a wittle tiny box, worried about this "non-decisive" liberal bias in the media and ready to elect Palin because of her chromosomes. We are just confused little pugilists. Dumb and confused and all of a feather.
If only we had extreme self-consciousness, just a soupcon of snobbish prig, a bow tie, and a large chopstick up our rears keeping us stiff and affected at all times, like you. Maybe then we little idiots could relax, enjoy the media roundtables, and make fun of Sarah Palin. Oh, how intellectual and important we little conservatives could be.
George Will is the anointed wimpy moderate. He is
tolerated by the MSM. Besides, anyone who is a Cubs fan is a proven loser.
Please, Cub fans do not be upset. Will has no right to be
a Cub fan since he has not lived our agony.
“These conservatives, confusing pugnacity with a political philosophy..”
Sorry George, we are not confused; it is intentional.
Yet again the aristocratic bow-tie crowd dismisses us readers and students of true conservatism.
Great story. If you remember, Bill Buckley introduced the mini-series on PBS.
He doesn’t like Sarah Palin. Deal with it. She has upsides and she has downsides.
George Will is correct to point this out and he is the leading intellectual figure of the conservative movement now that the big 3 guys have died (Friedman, Reagan, Buckley).
I do not know how close to Reagan sarah actually is. Reagan wrote and thought deeply about issues and he always came on the conservative side of things. Sarah raised taxes on oil companies because they were having a good year, not something I think Reagan would have done.
My point is, don’t pigeonhole us into Sarah. After all Mac picked her and we all know how dopey his judgement is. I would rather wait for a true reagan heir than deal with another disappointment like Bush who looked like reagan but never ended up talking or walking like him.
The Age of the O-Cult.
I stopped reading your crap years ago.
The leftist rags, like those puked out daily by the Gannett organization, run your pieces as a scrap thrown to conservative readers. True conservatives know you for what you are.
They never run pieces by Michelle Malkin and Ann Coulter. I read those on the internet and have cancelled my subscription to the Gannett rag long ago.
One of the ways you can tell if a writer is worth reading is if ten, twenty years later, people are re-reading his old stuff. No one reads old Will work, unless they are going to have surgery and need to be unconscious for a week.
