Change. That's all you'll have left when he gets through with you. Also, attempting to subvert the Constitution is only going to get him some massive civil disobedience. Funny, that there should have to be civil disobedience to defend the Constitution. Electors, take notice. Abort this monster.

From the ones site I did a search and found this gem concerning the 2nd amendment:

Address Gun Violence in Cities: As president, Barack Obama would repeal the Tiahrt Amendment, which restricts the ability of local law enforcement to access important gun trace information, and give police officers across the nation the tools they need to solve gun crimes and fight the illegal arms trade. Obama and Biden also favor commonsense measures that respect the Second Amendment rights of gun owners, while keeping guns away from children and from criminals who shouldn’t have them. They support closing the gun show loophole and making guns in this country childproof. They also support making the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban permanent, as such weapons belong on foreign battlefields and not on our streets.”

Where did you get that information? The $40 an hour I mean.”

NObama campaigned all along on the “$4000 grant for college tuition in return for 100 hours of ‘community service’” That works out to paying a college student $40 per hour for doing what????? Working phone banks for NObama?

I have worked for the past 52 years. I haven’t ever made $40/hour. College kids that cannot cut their hair and do other personal grooming don’t deserve $40 an hour of taxpayer money.
For that matter- most of the people paying taxes don’t make $40/hour. Why should their tax money be paid at that rate to a “college student”?????

Here's his Iran policy:

Obama supports tough, direct presidential diplomacy with Iran without preconditions. Now is the time to pressure Iran directly to change their troubling behavior. Obama and Biden will offer the Iranian regime a choice. If Iran abandons its nuclear program and support for terrorism, we will offer incentives like membership in the World Trade Organization, economic investments, and a move toward normal diplomatic relations. If Iran continues its troubling behavior, we will step up our economic pressure and political isolation. Seeking this kind of comprehensive settlement with Iran is our best way to make progress.

I can just see Ahmedinejad rolling on the floor laughing his ass off with this. A few American bucks and an embassy in exchange for not nuking Israel? Sanctions and isolation when he can sell Iran's oil to the Chinese? That ought to make them quake in their boots in Tehran.

Lots of new programs. Wonder how they will be funded?
Especially if he plans on cutting taxes.

Missile defense only if not “Pragmatic” (AKA Approved by Putin and Jinato).

Cuts in “unproven” weapon systems

Obama’s definition of an “Assault Weapon”

“Any firearm that has semi-auto action and/or can hold a magazine or clip with five or more rounds, any pump action shotgun, any rifle that can shoot bullets more than 300 yards, and any handgun that is smaller than eight inches in length”

Obama also said that he wants to cut back in high tech weapons and cut the defense budget (it is not here, but his advisers are telling Obama to cut the defense budget by at least 25% not including cuts in the missile defense and “unproven” weapons systems (including the F-22) and the war in Iraq.)

I have just saved all pages of the "agenda" for future reference and easy search...;)

there is one mention of "welfare" in the entire (71 pages for me) agenda:

Obama and Biden will create a prison-to-work incentive program, modeled on the successful Welfare-to-Work Partnership and work to reform correctional systems to break down barriers for ex-offenders to find employment.

Thanks, I didn’t realize that.

It still doesn’t help me in my issue with it being forced.

OFFER it, don’t REQUIRE it.

No thanks. If I have to give my PC a shower afterwards it’ll stop working...

I don’t agree with the “requirement” part of it.

If I can afford the extra $4,000 a year, but am forced to do community service, that is SLAVE LABOR.

I don’t like this attitude of “Well, that’s a good bit of money! What’s wrong with that?” What’s wrong is that the government is FORCING college students to do community service while not requiring recipients of welfare to do anything.

Well, I’m one year from 55. I wonder how many hours I’m going to be required to “serve”.

Ugh, I had this same argument with my hopelessly, addicted to CNN liberal father yesterday. He mentioned the “spread the wealth” and maybe that was the solution. I said there is NO price for my freedom. I was completely disrespectful to my father for the first time in my life and regretted my tone, but I was flabbergasted at him.

When he was not retired, he made pretty good money. He also was upset at my uncle, who hasn’t paid taxes, ever. And now that he was retirement age, didn’t have any social security. I offered to send half of his SS to his brother. He’s awful (as they all are) conservative when it comes to HIS money.

Thank you for that. I knew there was some law somewhere that mentioned “involuntary servitude”. I can’t wait to abolish this little “corps” program he has.

Must. Find. Constitutional. Lawyer.

That isn’t Barack of course. Did he actually GO to law school? Or is he just convinced that his version is better than the one we have?

I'm not crazy about the service plans either.

Barack Obama and Joe Biden's Plan for Universal Voluntary Public Service

what the heck is "universal voluntary" service anyway?...;)

They are trying to come up with another word for Gestapo to label their nifty “National Service Plan” “NSP” sounds too much like “Nazi” if you say real fast.
