What about the little girl affirmative action? Shouldn't females everywhere just give up? What about us? Men can have power black or white, but women, don't even think it!

But as far as the biggest insult so far, you win!I had the pleasure of escaping that pit 18 years ago.

Do you know who savaged Gov. Palin the most--other women. Until women get over their insecurities and learn to work for what they want, they will not be taken seriously. Gov. Palin is one of the few women on the national stage who knows how to carry herself and treat others.
Playing team sports or being in the military leaves a lasting impression and many great examples of how women can shed their insecurities and earn respect. If you don't feel as though you count, that's your personal problem. I have never felt that way in my life and I have never allowed anyone to make me feel that way.

Sorry, but in the business world, men have no problem working with intelligent, capable women. Its the other women where the problem remains. This is not incorrect. Especially treatment of those who don't look like Helen Thomas. Meow LOL.

Thank you.
When I wrote that for this posting, I had not read the rest of the thread.
What Boardwalk fails to see is that conservative men enjoy smart, strong women as long as they are WOMEN. We aren’t into the concept that a woman has to be a man to be successful.
On that basis of that, I would say conservatives have more faith in the ability of women than liberals do. And we sure aren’t afraid if strong women.

Well, as long as you're not from Salem, that's not too bad. ;-)

Wow, your condescending tone suggests I should be put in my place!I agree with an earlier poster. Women need to get their acts together with other women. In the workplace, it's one big catfight after another. I see it every day. My wife confirms it in her workplace.
Palin was raked over the coals by other women and gay men more than by any other group.

Count me in that 30%, too. No way would I ever vote for the Lefties of the World.
Hillary lost out to Obama because she didn’t inspire anyone other than the Feminists, and her baggage (and Bill’s) would have been too much for a victory.
Palin was impaled because she represents all that the Left hates: Pro-America, Pro-Life, Pro-Family, Pro-Git’er Done/Don’t just blab about it. I can’t wait to have a chance to vote for her in 4 years for Prez. If she had been running as a Lib Dem with the exact same work experience and a Pro-Abortion view, the Media and the Lefties would have loved her, and there would have been no problem at all with any of her alleged “shortcomings.”
Breathe deep, folks. And then get ready to be the Loyal Opposition.

I just don’t want to see Sarah discouraged. She did nothing wrong. That she will come back stronger is my hope!

“..men are a little afraid overall of a women with too much power and they will make it so she is humiliated if she tries.”
—
I personally believe that men get quite upset with women and/or minorities who are put in a position of power based on their sex and/or race if they are seen as incompetent and/or they haven’t earned their new status. White, hetero-sexual Anglo American Males are the primary target of discrimination in this once great nation. Just look around objectively and try to argue against that. Anyone who falls outside of that definition (white, hetero, anglo, male) is in a protected class and therefore gets extra consideration - do you dispute that? If you do, you, madam, are blind and prejudiced.

"Women have been beaten down, men earn more and have no downtime for babies so sure, women want a daddy like Obama to foot the bill."
Hmmm. I do agree with feminism regarding employers being forced to pay women at least as much as men who do the same jobs and forced promotions wherever women believe that they've been cheated out of promotions. ...and with paid leave for whatever reasons, full medical and dental insurance regardless of body mass index (you know how office work can be), free day and night care for all of their children,...all of that. Those policies would bring feminism to its syphillitic end faster than anything else.

dont think you have to worry. sarah is a strong woman. she will be back stronger and more prepared for what the msm and unfortunately some of our own will do to her. can you imagine?! i can not wait to see it! she will eat their lunch and pop the bag, wait and see....
sarah dont need us to defend her, although she probably appreciates it. she knew going in what the msm was about and she made it clear when she said to them that she was there for the American people, not to please them.
even now i betcha she knows what is going on and from what i see she is handling it like the true lady she is! given her personality i would say she is NOT discouraged, but rather preparing for the next battle! remember she said she likes the sparring;)
