ATTENTION!
Please, everyone who is as offended by this load of crap as I am, and if you contributed to the McCain Compliance Fund, demand a refund!
I contacted them this morning, expressing my frustration with the latest turn of events, and demanded a full and immediate refund of my $100 contribution. They are providing a refund.
HIT THEM WHERE IT HURTS!
The contact is Susan Nelson, National Finance Director, at snelson@mccain08hq.com.
This is disgraceful and petty!
And a lot of barf bags on this web site smacked me when I said I did not like McCain or his campaign. THIS type of crap is why. McCain was a loser from the git go. Only Palin brought him close. His stupid campaign IS WHAT LOST FOR HIM. THE IDIOTS LIKE THESE TWO BUFFOONS ARE THE REASON!!!!!!!!
?We contributed to the McCain/Palin campaign on the last eligible day, not to the Compliance Fund. I’ve been thinking about asking them for a refund since they have been trashing Sara. If the rest of them had worked as hard as Sarah did, and shared her positions, John McCain would be getting ready to move into the White House.
Done.
Hmmmmm.....

I just tried emailing Nelson to return mine and my wife’s campaign contributions, but I got an error message when I tried to send.
Is there another way I can do this? I think it is an excellent way to get it across to McCain that he ran a lousy campaign. His only bright spot was choosing Palin. She brought out the crowds—not the Senator. I guess the inside-the-beltway crowd didn’t like that much.
Does it have to be the compliance fund? Will they refund regular contibutions made back on the day Palin was announced?
Here is e-mail I just sent to McCain’s campaign

Subject: refund
Ms. Collins,
This is to request an immediate refund of our contribution to McCain presidential election campaign.
Below is the explanation of the reasons for this request.
My husband and I have made contribution to John McCain 2008 election campaign immediately upon learning that he has chosen Sarah Palin as his running mate.
As loyal Republicans we have supported Mr. McCain’s quest for presidency despite our disagreement with many of his positions, such as his immigration stand, his position on ANWR drilling, and, most of all, his belief that “reaching across the isle” could benefit the Country and the Republican Party. We have supported Mr. McCain because, even with all his ideological weaknesses, he appeared to be a very descent and honest man of strong character and right values.
Our opinion was reinforced when Mr. McCain made a choice of Sarah Palin.
Now, one day after a disastrous for our country election of Barak Obama, Mr. McCain is demonstrating that we have misplaced our trust.
Mr. McCain’s and his staffers’ most despicable, dirty and misogynistic post-election treatment of Sarah Palin - a wonderful, competent woman and a leader with strong conservative convictions- clearly and unambiguously demonstrate that the real McCain is not what we thought and hoped he was. Instead of expressing public gratitude to Ms. Palin for at least giving him a chance at victory, something that Mr. McCain would not have achieved without Ms. Palin, he how allows his aides to soil Ms. Palin’s name to the delight of the main stream media.
Mr. McCain must publicly apologize to Ms. Palin and immediately fire all of his staffers spreading vicious rumors and placing blame of McCain’s loss on Sarah Palin.
Respectfully,
What a great idea to demand a refund. No better way to garner their attention. Good for you.
And if you have to have a follow-up conversation to track your refund, please tell them how angry I am.
Just sent my email to Ms Nelson!
Down with these Romneybots and blue bloods.
In addition to sending an email, make sure you also challenge the donation you made directly with the credit card company (if you used a credit card).
I sent the email and filed a dispute.
If Palin isn’t at the top of the ticket in 2012 I’m sitting the election out.
She was the only reason I voted this year.
Thank you so much for providing that link. We contributed to McCain/Palin (once he named Sarah Palin). I think I might demand our $$ back as well.
Just wow...
What information do you need to provide them in order to get the refund. I would have been content to let them keep it...you know, we lost. But this post-game trashing of Sarah by our own team is inexcusable.
I will make a deal with them. They can give my money back or keep it...provided that they allow me one kick at both men to a part of their body of my choice.
LET IT GO...this is wha the left wants...the whole country to be relieved McCain isn’ the President....Why play into this game..IT’S OVER...MCCAIN is over...his day has come and gone..it’s all PALIN now....

Does Sarah Palin have a campaign fund we can give to? We could donate the refunds to her!
Does anyone else find it interesting that the first donation to the McCain-Palin compliance fund was made on March 1, 2008, months before Mrs. Palin was officially selected as John McCain’s running mate?

What is to be made of this?
I didn’t support McCain-Palin because I think that a McCain victory would have been disastrous for conservative movement in the long term.
Now, I’m convinced that McCain intentionally “mailed it in” to give the election to Obama. He may even have voted for Obama, like many others in the Republican establishment.
You should have demanded it be taken out of the payroll fund for those losers, long as you wbere at it.
BUMP THAT!
