The Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread - November 6, 2008
EIB Network ^ | November 6, 2008 | Rush Limbaugh

Posted on 11/06/2008 8:45:16 AM PST by IMissPresidentReagan

AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do—that’s host. Get ready to what you were born to do—that’s listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

We love to hear Rush Limbaugh,
Excellence in Broadcasting.
From sea to shining sea,
Millions and millions listen.
Conservative voice of freedom,
Heard throughout all America.
A message pure and truthful,
The downhearted are encouraged.
Integrity and honesty his motto.
We love you, Rush.
Listen to Rush Limbaugh.
G-d Bless you, Rush Limbaugh.

I wouldn’t go as far as saying a civil war could erupt. But I do think it’s time for conservatives to hold a little tea party and do a little community organizing of our own.

Tennessee - a state with the first Republican majority in both House and Senate since Reconstruction. Our state pulled through better than most this election.

That's great, Ingtar--congratulations! Wish I could say the same about Colorado, which is no longer even purple, but deep blue.

Does anyone have a link to the audio he played of Charlie Rose (?) and a guest talking about the creepy “cult of persnality” stuff and Obama’s acceptance speech?

I waiting to see how he squeezes in a hot water heater ad.

“Pelosi and Reid don’t need to be bipartisan, They are going to give the GOP the COLD shoulder. They don’t NEED what everyone of us need: a HOT WATER HEATER!”

They get along well because they have nearly identical political positions. They're both for the war against Islamofascism, and liberal on every other issue except abortion. That's the only one on which they disagree.

True conservatives have to get access to the MSM. Only RINOs get the MSM face time.

i can think of 2 ways to get the msm's attention

say something shocking

get everyone to agree to a plan - where any question is answered with a single talking point

how is your day senator?

the democrats caused the meltdown and i can prove it

have you stopped beating your wife senator?

the democrats caused the meltdown and i can prove it

Much of what I’ve seen makes me think it is not as blue as you fear. The groups that we lost were the same we lost with Clinton - Catholics, RINOS like Powell, the disenheartened staying home. If we get a chance, we’ll be back. If not, I take Tuesday’s results as a sign that the Rapture will be soon and I won’t care a whit about the country after that.

Whoops! I posted the wrong quote in the response I just made to you. I meant that to be your comment about McCain and Lieberman getting along so well.

Don't disagree, but look what always shows up on Sunday morning.

Hagle, Snowe, Collins, Graham, McCain...

No friends of conservatism they are.

I have no proof, but he appears to me to be the one who would benefit the most from taking her out. Some say that the culprits are his ex-staffers who went to work on McCain's campaign. If so, he could stop their rumor-mongering cold, if he wanted to. He hasn't. He was always considered to be a RINO, but conservatives had a meeting with him after Thompson dropped out to get his assurance that he would be willing to carry our banner in exchange for our support. He agreed to do it, so got our support. McCain used Huckabee to split some of the evangelical vote away from Romney, and that sunk our chances right there, because it forced MCain down our throats. He would have lost in a landslide had he not picked Palin as VP.

Thanks, Matchett. That does make sense. I'd have preferred to believe Romney was a man of character, but maybe I'm wrong.

I have been a Limbaugh listener almost daily for 20 years.

The caller was NOT a dingbat. She was an educated, earnest woman finding it a little difficult to express herself with Rush all over her like a chain-mail blanket.

I concurred precisely with her suggestions for the GOP.....but if you notice, if an idea isn't his own, Rush will dismiss it or pooh-pooh it in some way.

Rush became all hyped-up during the last 5 minutes of the show......and he became really nasty to the caller, cutting he off at the end.

Rush is generally courteous.....and he was off-form on this call.

What I think is VERY telling is that McCain is back to his PRE-convention status.

ALL, ever single bit, of support he had from core republicans came from the reflective glow of Mrs. Palin.

I question how the heck he was able to accomplish ANY win in the primaries.

hmmm

market DJI down 407.

looks like bargain hunters are pushing it up with programed up momentum limit orders.

still we are in the Obama(tax) Recession.

[of course it is going to run its course, just that Obama will jump in front of the parade to take credit, assuming his spend and tax and make work programs do not extend this into a depression]
