The McCain Campaign’s Classless Cowards (already attempting to blame Sarah for their loss!!!)
MichelleMalkin.com ^ | 11/05/08 | Michelle Malkin

The anonymous trashing of Sarah Palin by blabbermouth McCain aides who are leaking to Fox News is disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.

Allah’s got the vid clip of a report citing unnamed McCain staffers accusing Palin of lacking, in Carl Cameron’s words, “knowledgeability.”

At least all the Hollywood and Manhattan Palin-haters were willing to sign their names and put their faces on their attacks.

Let’s assume the rumor-mongers are telling the truth for a moment. Who does it damn more: Sarah Palin or McCain and his vetters who green-lighted her for the vice presidential nomination? Don’t need an Ivy League degree to figure that one out.

Sarah Palin worked her heart out. She energized tens of thousands to come out who would have otherwise stayed home. She touched countless families. I didn’t agree with everything she said on the campaign trail. But two fundamental conservative stands she took mattered greatly to me: She vigorously defended the Second Amendment and the sanctity of life more eloquently in practice than any of the educated conservative aristocracy.

And she did it all with a tirelessness and infectious optimism that defied the shameless, bottomless attempts by elites in both parties to bring her and her family down.

Shame on the smearers who don’t have the balls to show their faces.

Thank you, Sarah Palin. Thank you for stepping up the plate and serving your country.

***

More: Ace of Spades is %^&* spitting mad:

Here’s a story these staffers tell: Sent to collect Palin from a hotel, she greeted them, straight from the shower (running late, I guess ) dressed (scandal!) only in a bathrobe (presumably a very thick hotel bathrobe).

These staffers called that “uncommon” — Cameron delighted in the word to give it the sound of “whorish, unprofessional.”

Heh, assholes? She had to open the door and had just gotten out of the shower. Did you want her to use her magical powers of telekinesis to open the door for you?

So is RedState, which announces an accountability project.

This story is bogus. With Sarah’s rushed schedule it’s amazing she was able to do anything except hurry off to the next rally. Which brings up: why did the McCain campaign only go to Florida a few times instead of trying to win Penn which was a lost cause? Why didn’t they to go Colorado more? Why did they bother coming to California? Why weren’t they in Virginia more?

The mind boggles... worrying about staffers crying when their whole campaign strategy was as porous as a sieve. There was no coherent message except “I’m a maverick! I work across the aisle! Here are a couple of guys from the Gang of 14!”

As for Governor Palin, it is not her fault that she did not know Africa is not a country. She has been a governor for what 2 years of remote Alaska? And she has not traveled to many continents and talked to international politicians. But my observation is she is a quick study and now that she has national and international stature, she will absorb all kinds of foreign policy know how before 2012. SHe will be more than ready in 2012.

I don't know what's more stupid about your post: The fact that you believe she didn't know that Africa's a continent or that you think someone who doesn't know Africa's a continent can be edu-ma-cated on the side for four years and be ready to be commander-in-chief in a time of global war.

Good grief.

The only way any red blooded American would have been troubled by this, is if they passed out from a sudden lack of blood flow to the brain. (If you know what I mean).

see the sexist horror in 219

Cindy Mccain ain’t exactly chopped liver herself to be fair. A very handsome elegant woman.

our women are so gorgeous compared to Obamas

that gives me pride, do you understand how men could feel that and believe in them too?

my wife is beautiful and my mom was Miss Mississppi in 1952, I know how to see women are attractive and still respect them.

This is where feminism and post feminism has warped some women and meterosexuals, the inability to appreciate that nuance

The Democrats and their running dogs in the media are behind the attacks on Sarah - and are attributing this to McCain people and other sources.

This is a clear attempt to destroy her political future for the Republicans. It is coming from the DEMOCRATS!!! Are you people incapable of understanding this??? And that includes you, Limbaugh....

If Republicans do not have the capacity to understand disinformation and defend themselves - instead of allowing their dedicated enemy to make them idiotic puppets and sending them at each others throats - they don't have the DNA for survival.

“There is a rumor around the internet” - and you, dimwit, are so anxious to pass any rumor/disinformation along and assist in the effort by the Democrats and left to destroy both Palin and our party.

As for Governor Palin, it is not her fault that she did not know Africa is not a country.

Where is the proof that she did not know Africa was not a country? Some angry unnamed campaign worker hack with a major loss on his/her record who wants to salvage a reputation and get a job in the beltway?

Unnamed sources are usually crap or at least fabricated.

IHHO, McCain lost when he caved-in to Bush/Paulson. He had an opportunity to lead the nation away from socialism and he failed. The race was lost on the day bailout passed. The people did not want this deal. But, of course, he already had several strikes against him. McCain-Feingold, McCain-Kennedy, McCain-Lieberman, etc., all of which dampened the spirit of the base. And I doubt he’s learned any lessons. Probably thinks he didn’t go far enough to the left. Unfortunately, the Republican party will probably agree. Huge lost opportunity. A true conservative could have waltzed in against the Marxist kid Obama. McCain had his chance to redeem himself and save the nation, but blew it.

I like Palin for her natural conservatism, but don’t know if she’ll be the one for 2012.

She knew Darfur was in Rwanda where as Slow Joe thought it was in Chad.

Rwanda is nowhere near Darfur. Darfur is a province of Sudan that lies on the border between Sudan and Chad.

In the debate Biden did not say that Darfur is in Chad. He said that he had been to refugee camps in Chad that contained people fleeing from Darfur.

Neither candidate mentioned Rwanda in the debate. Palin appeared to correctly identify that the incidents in Darfur were due to the actions of the government of Sudan.

Nailed it, imo. I hope we don’t forget who voted for that fiasco.

Hey, double-bacon genius burger, if an unnamed source saysshe doesn’t know that a bicycle has two wheels, or that she doesn’t know there are caribou in Alaska, are you going to believe that, too?
