The Electoral College will have the duty to certify that the winner of the "election" is properly qualified to take the oath of office and serve as President of the United States of America. Obama's birth cettificate may be required.
“The point is this: either he is not qualified because of birth or he is not African, but the son of an American radical or someone else. Either way, he’s a fraud.
Why is he hiding? How can we trust a leader who hides his qualifications. Is he or is he not legitimate? Just show the certificate and make us look like fools. I dare him!!!!!
How can we live with this crap for 4 years? Oh... he’s black and we’d all be embarrassed if he can’t serve... Just forget the Constitution. Its a White thang!
On that certificate it says: “This copy serves as prima facie evidence of birth in any court proceeding.” Obama has both a US Passport and a Social Security card using that Certification.
Thus far, six courts have looked at this issue. Zero courts have granted any plaintiff the right to look further at Obama’s birth certificate.
There will always be those who will not accept his Certification of Live Birth” as valid but that’s just life in America.
The state of Hawaii’s Health Department under a Republican Administration has verified the vault copy of his birth certificate as valid.
His birth announcement appeared in both Honolulu newspapers, The Honolulu Advertiser and the Honolulu Star-Bulletin on the Sunday after his birth. It was the policy of both of those newspapers back in 1961 to view a birth certificate before posting a birth announcement in the paper.
For 99% of Americans, the issue is closed.

By the way, the vote of the Electoral College does not take place in one location. The Electoral College meets in each of the fifty states plus the District of Columbia on December 15th. 364 Obama electors will vote for him to be President of the United States. Obama electors will be his most rabid, most powerful and wealthiest supporters. Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid oversee the mechanics of the Electoral College vote.
I have done some further research:
Article III, Section II seems to apply, it says in part:
“The judicial power shall extend to all cases ... to controversies to which the United States shall be a party ...”
Since there seems to be an assault on the Constitution her, I assert that this IS a controversy to which the United States is a party.
Also, there is the 9th Amendment (sometimes called the “forgotten amendment”):
“The enumeration in the Constitution of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people”.
Basically, this means that not all rights are listed in the Constitution. The courts must, therefore, consider such claims of right on their merits (i.e. checking citizenship status) instead of arguing that “if the Constitution had intended to give these rights to the people, it would have done so”.
Also, the 10th Amendment:
“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people”.
Seems to me that citizenship verification is not delegated to the United States in the Constitution and it is not prohibited by the Constitution to the States. Therefore, it seems to be reserved to the States - which aren't doing anything. That leaves - the people.
I think, if SCOTUS takes the case, they will have to rely on the concept of “original intent” since we are in uncharted waters here.

The State of Hawaii has NOT said that they have verified the BC, only that a valid Certificate Of Live Birth (COLB) is on file.
COLBs are of 2 types - born in Hawaii and born abroad.
The COLB posted by Factcheck.org has not been subjected to independent forensic analysis, nor has the ORIGINAL BC been made available.
As far as 6 courts - which ones? I have only heard that a Virginia State Court has seen the COLB from Factcheck.org - the same one that has not been forensically reviewed.
The courts I know of have dismissed based on standing, not the merits of any cases and they have NOT reviewed the COLB.
I know what we are meant to be: a nation of laws.
This is why SCOFLA was slapped down by SCOTUS in 2000. This is why the Electoral College was put in place, to avoid the majority mob.
I know this is nothing new to you ... I just really like to see that stuff written in black and white.
It does not certify that he was born in Hawaii. Only that they hold his birth certificate. They were very careful to skirt the issue of where he was born.

It is not about him being born in Hawaii. I want his adoption papers by Soetoro. If adopted he is an illegal alien and not even a naturalized citizen.
COLBs are not the birth records. They may or may not legitimate. His sister, who acknowledges she was born in Indonesia, has one.

The more you hide the louder this gets. Eventually it will leak out. He's just hoping to get to Inauguration Day before it leaks. Unlikely an impeachable event with a veto proof Senate so there will be no constitutional remedy after he's sworn in. The greatest con job in American history will be complete.

Electors take an oath to uphold the Constitution, etc. before they cast the vote. If they violate that oath by electing Obama (assuming Obama is actually unqualified to serve) they have violated the oath and can be prosecuted. Its like a crooked alderman. They violate the oath and they get prosecuted (except in Chicago!)
My point is this... the electors have a duty to verify the candidate's qualifications and then vote. Its a canned process. I've seen it in action. They raise their right hands and sweat to uphold the Constitution and then cast their votes. If they don't bother to check eligibility, they are liable for prosecution and any REPUBLICAN attorney general with anything approaching testicles, chutzpa or guts can prosecute them by using the power of the state to deny them life, liberty or freedom if convicted.
So... if you vote without checking the qualifications, you risk going to jail. Liberals are terrified of going to jail so they may, and I emphasize may, be inclined to not cast the vote until they verify Obama’s eligibility. This will require taking a peak at the actual birth record, not some record of live birth. Obama has the burden of proving he is eligible. Not us. Him.
She may have verified it as genuine... but she DIDN’T tell us what it said. The fact it exists is interesting. We want the data contained on the certificate.

It would be the simplest thing in the world for him to produce his actual birth certificate with the real data and make us all look like fools. He doesn't so reasonable minds can only conclude that he is hiding something. It's either his nation of origin or his father's name. There are no other logical items. So which is it? He's not a “natural born citizen” and, therefore ineligible to serve as president OR he's not African and the whole African thing is a lie. Which one?
And... let's say he IS a “natural born citizen and his natural father IS Obama, Sr. then, by not putting this issue to rest before Inauguration Day, he demonstrates he's just an *sshole!

The fundamental problem with Fukino’s assertion is that it is based on her interpretation. She is also connected historically to Obama senior and the commie past in Hawaii.
Many of these electors are lawyers. Lawyers are regulated by state bar associations. Violating an oath of office is grounds for disbarment. Will these lawyers vote for Obama without verifying his qualifications and risk disbarment? I doubt it.
It is possible that someone may file complaints against many of these lawyers if they vote before verifying Obama’s qualifications. Will they ruin their legal careers to elect a possibly unqualified candidate? Let's see...
