I bet she would prefer the money go elsewhere. e.g. www.ndss.org

Great idea! You can make a donation to honor someone else (Sarah?) here.

The National Downs Syndrome Society will allow you to donate in someone’s name and they will notify that person.

I think Sarah would like that more than anything.

Here’s the link.

My e-mail:

Dear Governor Palin,

Thank you so much for your contribution to America these past months. We were very excited to see a true conservative running on our ticket, and were dismayed that you and Senator McCain were not victorious in your attempt.

Please accept our family’s heartfelt thanks for your service, and our request that you continue to pursue issues that will limit our government’s control over private citizens and slash uncontrolled spending in Congress. I hope that you will offer your services on a national level in 2010 or 2012. You certainly have our votes.

We have donated to the National Down Syndrome Society as a way to offer our gratitude. Every life is precious, from conception to natural death, and as you say, the most innocent ones are the ones most needing protection.

May God Bless you and yours, America and our troops.

Most sincerely,

I SENT AN email first thing this morning and posted somewhere on the boards that I did. I love the idea of donations in her and Trig’s honor to the National Downs Syndrome Foundation..she would LOVE that and know it would touch her heart to know how much she herself was loved by all of us and how much we care about her family and special needs kids..

Thanks GRRRRR that is a great idea.

She worked her butt off for that campaign. I heard some garbage today about some of McCain’s staffers bad mouthing her. I guess they now need to throw somebody under the bus. IMO, Mac would have been nowhere near winning without her.

She put up with a lot of crap from the media and public as well.

Do we have an email address for her? Or a mailing address?

I’d love to thank her!

Sent her an appreciative email. I’m really looking forward to seeing how she comes back from the image brand that the media shaped her. I do believe she can alter it.

Does anyone know of an email address to which you can send Gov. Palin political and partisan correspondence? Because I'm pretty sure the email I just sent fit that category.

If you are going to send flowers please spend the money with your local florist. Most local florist can wire flowers anywhere. I know mine can.
