I had my sister-in-law send me an email telling me how I must really be hurting now (barf). I responded with this:

We're fine, Republicans can see past an election. It is cyclical after all, isn't it? It is your turn now and in the next 2, 4, 6, and 8 years it'll be ours again. :)

My wife left me in 1973. Sometime in the 90's remarried a Canadian and has dual-citizenship. She votes in our elections absentee (liberal always). I'll bet when she really needs health care, I wonder if she'll pick the Canadian system/doctors or the U.S. system? Oh! That's right, they'll both be the same busted thing soon!

My daughter got propagandized in a liberal madrassa in Texas and all her degrees made her a liberal first class. She is not dead too me, but I'm considering estranging her. She loves Washington state and thinks socialism like the sophisticated Europeans have is just the ticket for us and also believes that when you have enough wealth, the rest should be taken away and redistributed... I'm glad she never married and glad she never reproduced.

I had to instruct my 7 year old that if anyone in public happened to ask him who his parents voted for, to say “I don’t know”.

There was a fight here at a local high school over a student who was walking around the lunch room carrying an Obama sign. Another child grabbed the sign and spit on it. Alledgely a riot broke out.

I don’t have a link to this or anything. My best friends husband is a police officer here and that’s how I heard about it. If I see anything on the actual news station, I will link to it then.

Still, I don’t want to be in public with my two small children and have someone hostile try to start something. I am a small white woman and don’t have a carry permit. I do plan on fixing the last problem soon though.

Speak your mind in a calm fashion. Carry a pocket book sized copy of the US Constitution and Madison's/other founder's words about the meaning of the General Welfare clause. Also mention unfunded liabilities, China weaponizing space, Russia starting to growl, countries in South America becoming closer with Russia and Iran.
