Former public school teacher here to tell you that you are right on. Supporting homeschooling and private schooling is something we can work on while Barry tries to implement a fully Communist state. Any parent who still has their precious ones in any public school is in denial. I have no patience for the usual "My school is different" speech. None of them are different.

I am not happy about Obama winning but I think I am feeling better than I would have felt if I had watched the news.

Me too, pepperhead. I followed on FR until about 8:15, and when it began to turn ugly I turned it off, read a book and went to bed. Very unlike me, but I knew whatever would happen would happen -- better to wake up to a happy surprise than be sick with anxiety all night long.

I'll have enough nights like that ahead of me.
