I've read a few articles here and there about how gun sales are skyrocketing because of this new dictator about to take power.
I'll be purchasing several handguns, shotguns and maybe more in the coming days myself. I no longer feel safe in this country and believe the Gestapo is about ready to come after those of us that challenge the authority of the dictatorship.
you over look the fact that alot of of the miltary own guns and have family members who own as well that going to be a big "IF" in any mass gun confication/round up of gun owners
So you will collaborate with those who seek to destroy our way of life. I may be one, but I am not alone. The Second Admendment is there to prevent power crazed leaders from removing the rest of our rights. You would have probably approved of the removal of individual’s firearms post-Katrina. No, it is not 1775 (check your history), but if push comes to shove, I will be ready.
Nowhere did I write that, and if your skills are so poor that you infer it, you need to work on your skills. Learn first, not to commit friendly fire, even on a keyboard.
1. Consider it a question.
2. Friendly fire works both ways too, and will do my part as a sheepdog even for you.
“you over look the fact that a lot of of the miltary own guns and have family members who own as well that going to be a big “IF” in any mass gun confiscation/round up of gun owners”
Although I agree, I was very disappointed to see LE (from places better trained than N.O.P.D.) confiscating guns post-Katrina. I would like to have seen someone stand up and say “I took an oath to uphold the Constitution and will not violate that oath by following this illegal order.” Of course, maybe that did occur in some instances that we just didn’t hear about.
There is a good Web search engine for AMMO SALES here;

Steel is reloadable, but less than ideal. The Berdan priming is more problematic.
Personally, I think that if it ever came to this, “we the people” would go on the offensive and catch the gestapo with their pants down. Don’t give them the opportunity to mobilize. I am not gonna wait around for them to trap my family and me in our home. I’ll take the fight to them first and keep my family out of harms way, at least for a while.
Atlantic Firearms...
“Please Note : Due to the Election of a very Anti Gun President all
items we carry will be in high demand and short supply !
Please expect to experience a wait or order time for most items.”
Ouch! That sucker LOOKS painful! .44 mag is a case where I like heavy.
They’ll run out of willing jackboots before we run out of deer rifles.
I would venture to say that you've never done that kind of work before.
I’ll let you know how it shoots.
I’m sure it’ll shoot great. I just wonder how much it will hurt!
Of course, you can always feed it softer shooting .44 specials, and save the magnums for special occaisions.
I picked up a box of .223 yesterday and two guys bought AR-15’s in those few minutes.
You need your own thread. ;)
I saw that Sturm Ruger stock was up yesterday, while the market tanked 500 pnts.
“I have lots of .223, but need more 7.62x54R, ...”
What’s enough? What is lots?
If I have 200 rounds for each handgun and each shotgun; am I in ok shape?
I bought most of it for y2k, do I have to worry that any of it has gone bad?
What is the best test to see if moisture has affected any rounds or shells outside of firing it off?
(grin)
“lots of .223” = +/-6,500 live rounds plus 3,000 reloadable cases & 5,000 bullets
But I am a Texan and confermed gun nut... I’m planning on picking up 500 rounds of 12ga 00Buck and 1,000 of 7.62x54R that is brass cased so I can reload it. 2,000 bullets for the 7.62x54R (.310”) came in this week.
I normally consider 500 rounds for pistols and shotguns a minimum someone should have for their “go to” firearms. You do need to practice with a pistol especially so account for 50 rounds once or twice a month...
Moisture? Check for discoloring and dampness in the packaging. Best is fire a random sampling at the range. You can also pull (or have pulled) a bullet & powder charge to make sure the powder is lose, free flakes or pellets.
You should really consider adding a rifle to the mix...
Pop over to www.gunsnet.net, we talk guns a lot! I have the same handle there...
