Who is the best choice to win in 2012? And why?
Jindal-Kasich or Jindal-Santorum or Jindal-Hunter (to target OH, PA or CA). Jindal is a Reagan conservative, a principled conservative, young, energetic, positive, optimistic, articulate, intelligent, very down to earth (I met him when he ran for Congress). Let Sarah run for senator from Alaska.
It is highly doubtful that there will be an election in ‘12. The United Socialist States of America will not be the same, poverty, inflation, starvation, etc.
She has earned the 2012 nomination.
Judging from your post, I can see that you don’t like Palin. However, who would’ve energized the base more. By the way, I agree that Jindal is the superior choice, but I want him to get a full term as governor first.
I say we put all of our eggs with Jindal.
The reasons why?
1: We can neuter the issue of race in the next election by having a minority run for president.
2: Jindal’s Asian Indian. I know when I still thought like a typical member of generation whYne, my Asian Indian grandfather would pretty much lay a verbal smackdown on me. Asian Indian culture has a lot of the hard work ethic and focus on substance rather than style that America will need in 4 years.
3. Jindal knows how to handle slick talkers. Again, part of his Asian Indian culture. We tend to value substance over style.
Mitt. He could have won this time.
But it’s way too early. We have no idea what the conditions will be like next week, never mind ‘12.
Jindal has no more executive or legislative experience than Palin and does not have the personality to win it. Nice guy, too corny, BIG ego, another Medved pic. He’s going to Iowa in a few weeks to begin his bid for the presidency.
Freople,
The press is going to do everything they can do discredit Palin. Without her on the ticket, this election would have been worse.
Keep sticking up for her and keep fighting for her. Don’t stand for the attacks and communicate back with truth!
THEY want to discredit her because she is good and could win.
Jindal is the total package, IMO.
Sarah Palin President/ Joe the Plumber VP
Jindal is a nice guy, but he is NOT conservative; Sarah clearly is.
Go kiss Obama’s ring.
Why do you say that?
Both. And maybe Eric Cantor of Virginia.
Clever response, are you a professional debater?
She rallied the base and made things interesting. She provided excitement that was lacking in McCain alone. But that doesn't add up to expecting her to lead conservatives to victory in a presidential election.
Conservatives need someone who can speak persuasively and who can articulate a credible political narrative to average Americans and those struggling in economic difficulties. They also nee someone solid on national security issues since the world in 2012, after fours years of an Obama administration, is likely to be more unstable and dangerous than it is now.
Palin might make an excellent Senator or congressional representative from Alaska.
No, I’m a troll detector.
