When Barone Calls It, I Believe It
Dang. Fox News calls Pennsylvania for Obama. But I notice someone in the Corner said that Barone was throwing cold water on the Pennsylvania calls.
It's not looking good, but let's watch the actual results come in...
UPDATE: CNN calls Pennsylvania for Obama.
I'm told Fox News has called Georgia for McCain.

Hello!!!!!
In 2000, when all the networks were calling FL for Gore, Barone was screaming “bull$#*!”
Wow.
5% of precincts have reported. It is a little early yet.
I want to see some real county numbers... and explain why.
Have they actually counted votes in New Hampshire?
McCain camp objecting to networks projecting O for PA. Fox reporting now.
This is precisely why I’ve not watched ANY election coverage so far this evening......it’s a joke.
I was very impressed by this blog posted earlier today
http://seanmalstrom.wordpress.com/ the ‘Toast’ entry.
I see all calling PA for obama, the author says no. It’s going to be a long night perhaps. Turn off the pinball TV!
The media is staying in the tank for Obama. If this site doesn’t boycott Fox News after this election, then people deserve what we are getting.
We need to all rise up and demand honesty from the media and changes to the way voting is reported. To call my State of Oklahoma at 7:01 with polls still open in some places is WRONG. No state should be called until votes come in from the election board. No exit polling allowed by any organization.
We need changes to the way elections are run! We are like a 3rd world country!
On another thread someone said there were still people IN LINE in PA. Some precincts aren’t even closed.
Obama is less 90 away from winning the electorate.
I’m from PA, this call doesn’t make sense. McCain districts will come in late, Obama early, voters have been over-called, they will respond quirkily to exit pollsters.
Could have been psy-ops, but earlier today there was an article saying Rendell was disappointed in the Phila. turnout and wanted voluteers to make phone calls to get people out.
Mr. Marston said Philly’s numbers go in first. Miami is first in FL. He said he still thinks McCain wins.
can someone explain to me what it might mean of unexpectedly michigan goes for mccain?
“If this site doesnt boycott Fox News after this election, then people deserve what we are getting.”
With the exception of Hannity I know I am done with FOX.
FOX has been the only place that conservatives could turn to for unbiased news. Seems that in this election cycle, their slant has changed and conservatives are being left as orphans.
I warned folks that the possibility that the networks could call PA based purely on exit polling, only to have back off that call later in the night may happen folks.
Calling PA on exit Polling alone is crazy.
As I said on a thread I started a few minutes ago, Michael Barone was on Fox News a few minutes ago, and he said that the WPE in Pennsylvania (the measure of the difference between the exit polling results and teh ACTUAL results) is 10.4%!!! That’s HUGE!
That’s why he’s urging restraint on the PA call for Obama.
