The polls WERE wrong. There was this talk of an Obama landslide. He is the first Democrat since Clinton to be elected without receiving a majority of the popular vote. He is a minority President.

I think we all believe that! George Soros and only The Lord knows who else was behind it.

I have NEVER believed in ANY conspiracy theories...but, in a matter of days, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, AIG, and all those banks began falling like dominoes...sure, just a coincidence...uh huh....

She does - but in order for her to be stronger, Obama needs to totally hose over the country, or not be able to run in 2012.

I am crying for our troops right now. What will he do to our military?

IF 0bama becomes President, the pertinent question is:

"What will our military do to HIM, when he starts p*ssing on and shredding our Constitution, which they have taken an Oath to defend?"

Our last line of Defense WILL come through if called upon to do so.

This is just shattering to all of us military families!

I feel I am in the twilight zone!

I’ve a son in the navy. I’m a USO volunteer and we’ve got a brigade coming home next Tuesday the 11th. I’m going to do my level best to welcome them back with open arms and a positive attitude.

In the back of my mind I can’t stop thinking that all those who died in Iraq, died in vain. This is what brings tears to my eyes. This is what marginalizes me. The thought that my family serves a country who could give a shit less for their sacrifice. That my family serves a country who would gladly elect a socialist who couldn’t even take the time to visit the wounded on his “rock-n-roll world tour”. Remember, he chose to “shoot hoops” instead.

I have nothing in common with democrats any longer. Nothing. We are in two different worlds. I continue on and look to my religious faith to be sustained. This is on hell of a flawed shit hole these idiots have put us in.

Pointing to the economic crisis as nearly insurmountable for any republican. Why that is the case I’ll never understand....!

Neither Democrat or Republican will be able to solve this economic problem. It will require letting major companies go bankrupt - and lot's of them. None of the 'leaders' have the backbone to explain this to the American public.

I will forever be grateful to George W. Bush for his Supreme Court appointments. However, he has put our nation into serious economic jeopardy over the last three months. Obama will take it to a whole new level of crisis.

Thanks for posting this. I was in the middle of doing that.

I’m still not giving up. No matter what happens tonight, the fight is far from over - at least for me.

I don’t know if there are any FR sticky threads, or how to keep such a thread going over the next four years, but I think that from a pocketbook standpoint we need to go into survival mode. I certainly don’t have all the answers, I’ve posted what I could think of, which is why I think it needs to be something that we can all contribute to and go to for guidance. The looters are coming for our wallets, and it is our duty to ourselves and our families to not only deny them this to the best of our ability but to survive the damage they will do in their greed.

As for the rally for the new Stalin, I wouldn’t know. Encore has Mad Max on, a flick I just can’t resist :^)

Brace yourself. We're going to have a European style social democracy in this country. Its time to face the truth.

And no energy independence, compromised national defense, restrictions on liberties, etc. He's not my president. No how, no way. And that fugly affirmative action beyotch will not be viewed on my TV screen, EVER. I've kept my TV off all night, and it is going to stay off. Who is John Galt.

Now I’m confused — aren’t Ohio and PA called for Obama already?

“How many times tonight has Fox screwed up on their calls?”

“I turned the TV off it was so bad.”

FNC was a half step up from public access tonight. I’m glad they’re all having a grand ole time. I turned off the TV after Chris Wallace started passing out cookies, and Rove was humming ‘Working on the Railroad’...

maybe I’m wrong but as I watch the numbers it appears McCain’s numbers are going up in many of the states they already called.
