I'm leaving in a couple of minutes to vote in D.C., where John McCain is about to take an early lead.

I'm going to tackle an exit poller to report in, so the late risers should be hearing about the sudden McCain surge in D.C. along about breakfast time.

Well, since you’re there, tell us more. Large or small crowd, and your take on the folks and mood there. Also, remind our democrat friends that Republicans vote today and democrats tomorrow due to the large crowds expected (lol)

Let it rain! The harder and longer the better. Washing all the Socialists from the polling places of Virginia.

Long line. Everyone is upbeat and cordial. I’m still asleep. Doors are open. They have a practice machine (for dummies). So far so good.

I am watching the school (polling site) right across the street...at 6:30 I’ll be walking over to work the sidewalk handing out brochures...etc...only 3 cars there right now...went out to put all my McCain/Palin and local/state signs to the front of the yard and it’s raining...not hard...just a light drizzle...

I find my old camo gortex to be a great umbrella substitute especially when I am not in the mood to be assaulted by pollsters and the like. Heading out to vote in 10 minutes with my DH.

Today will be an historic day in West Tennessee. Mrs. TnGop will vote McCain, her first Presidential vote since I’ve known her, and I believe her first ever! Of course, she’ll still vote for our Rat state rep, Jimmy Naifeh, but I can forgive her for that.

Headed to my polling place in Maryland in about 30 minutes.

Going to be there for the open. Taking my voter registration and my passport.

Is this a Democrat or Republican area?

I also don’t understand this thing about lines. Does everyone have to wait in line to vote? Out in California, there are never any lines to vote.

I’m going over around 10am between the busy times. My polling place is usually pretty quiet at that time.
