GOP Internals Actually Show McCain UP in Pennsylvania and within the margin of error in Michigan.
Quinn & Rose Radio Show ^ | 3 November 2008 | Jim Quinn

Pennsylvania is shaping up to be what Florida was in 2000 and Ohio was in 2008. On the morning drive in, I was tuned into our nationally sydicated talk show which broadcasts from Pittsburgh, PA.

He was reading from GOP internal polls. McCain has actually moved into the lead in Pennsylvania (but still within the margin of error) and was only 1% behind in Michigan. Keep working and don't give up!

Boy do I love your numbers. I’ve set PA as the battle of Armagedon as well.
Like your 1 EV from Maine. I consider that an indicator along with NH though.

Guessing you have OH and FL for McCain but how did you place VA?

We have a real shot here. It does look like PA is the big one for us.

Does “Operation Chaos” mean anything to you? It doesn't to the pollsters. OC skewed the ratio between D/R

In my area of Indiana over 20% of the Spring democratic precinct vote were cast by republicans, but according to some they're just republican who have changed their affiliation because of Bush hatred.

Well DUH!

Don't remember how many other states would be involved.

True, but when even those supporting your candidate thinks he will lose, it isn’t a good sign.

It would be nice to have a lead in polling, but it isn’t worrisome within itself not to have one

All of the polls are subject to oversampling Dems based on bogus voter registrations. Not anywhere near all those voter regs will try or get by with voting if they do try. Many of them used obviously phony names such as Mickey Mouse or the Dallas Cowboy players, etc.

Why would they do that? ACORN paid by the name. Workers for ACORN pulled every trick in the book to meet a quota and get paid as much as possible and not get fired. One guy was bribed and harassed into registering 17 times. The same guy, same name. Only to get them off his back did he do that. NOT so he could try to vote 17 times.

Within the polls are lacking figures on PUMAS...many of them are not answering pollsters, on purpose, or are lying to pollsters, on purpose.

Many people have said to friends, families etc that they are afraid to say they are against Obama.

So many ways the polls can be skewed to Obama, so little time and space to count them.

Now this: the undecideds are a pretty large number for this late date. The polls don’t account for the vast majority of them being for McCain, which is most likely.

Yes, some polls have Obama right at 50 per cent or slightly above. Others have him UNDER.

What’s clear as a ringing bell is that McCain’s potentlial level of support is only going to be known when the votes are counted.

McCain has the running room to win this thing.

Polls or no polls.

Leading in the polls or not...

If Mac takes PA .... lock and load .. they will riot in the streets when Obama loses and the republicans “steal” another election!

Even with all his ACORN buddies and campaign workers voting several times in different states, bringing the dead back to life just to vote for him, the people of PA are standing up for US. Or should i say USA

Thank you!

I have OH, FL and VA going for McCuda.

I will disagree on the NH/ME point though. I offer these two reasons:
1. NH is becoming MA-North. This election, plus Sununu and Jeb Bradley winning or losing will prove if NH is lost or not. As I write this, I say it is. I hope I'm wrong. Which leads me to:
2. Maine. Southern Maine is becoming and extension of NH, which is becoming an extension of MA. However, northern Maine is still not fully indoctrinated...yet...still a good number of old school Yankees. I see McCuda eeking out the 1 EV.

Here's another point about voter fraud: There are many MA people that have houses, land in NH and ME - not your typical ACORN person. I wonder how many of them are double voting?

others may disagree(we are ALL on same side)but my crunching of numbers makes PA a must, not an option this time.
IF McPalin pull it off we won’t know the PA numbers until at least midnight because the so called “T” votes don’t surge until at least then.
in 12 district of Murtha the Rat-3 votes here for Russell-when they polled myself and wife separately they forgot the 21 yr old college student with brains and sense. “Obama and Biden are slimy”(her words).
Proud Dad in PA!!!

If McCain wins, when all is said and done there will be a “study.” Part of that should analyze the ever popular youth vote about how the Dems have registered some 1.5 MILLION new voters in the 18-21 age group and how that’s going to shift the paradigm even more to the left. What they fail to take into account is the responsibility levels of that age group. Especially high school seniors and college freshmen. I know, I have taught that age group for 20 years. If they see a line they’re going to go to a movie, instead. Or they might simply sleep all of election day. The odds that a significant portion of this group will turn out in numbers capable of making any sort of real impact are minuscule. Except for a few zealots the group as a whole hasn’t the Patience to endure uncomfortable conditions and stand in one spot to accomplish a task that few of them feel makes a difference anyway.

Our scenarios are similar. I do have a shock in New England with NH and Maine, somehow I think that 1 EV will be in play too. Not sure about VA and have mapped a winning scenario without it.

That McCain can even be close with all the illegal cash he’s been up against, not to mention the media is simply amazing.

It’s not an inside straight I see, but an open ended straight to carry the winning hand to victory.

And it does run right through PA and OH.

Thanks for your post. I went to visit an Army buddy of mine in Perkasie this weekend, and discovered that McCain was holding a rally there in a small hangar. We got there at 10:45, gates opened at noon, and he was late, showed up around 3:30, and rally was over by 4:30. The two things that struck me were (1) that the crowd was predominantly mature voters, 40yo and older, the younger ones with kids, and mostly male; and (2) that many were uninformed prior to the rally, and this rally was their chance to get to know McCain.

I had a great time talking up McCain and talking down Obama while I was there. The thing that seemed to make the greatest impression was when I told them about Obama's repulsive no-child-born-alive position.

The level of enthusiasm was obviously high, as we all waited for hours standing on cement (no chairs) and the only people who left were the fainters.

As for McCain, he was genuinely stoked for the event, as were Cindy and Lindsay Graham, who spoke first. Mac hit Obama hard on taxes, made special appeals to the vets in the crowd (we were legion!!!), and entertained the crowd with his obvious enthusiasm. He spoke for a good 20 minutes, and had the crowd going wild as he built to his finale -- "Stand up ... stand up and fight with me." WOW!!!!!

Don't know enough about PA to compare his warm reception in Perkasie to the rest of PA, though my friend (originally from SW Virginia) says that McCain is doing well in the county because he has name recognition and people feel comfortable with him, and because Obama is really an unknown quantity.

Thanks again for your post. It confirms much a what I experienced.

McCain has said over and over he is going to win. He is going to win. While I don’t believe the numbers from Karl from Ohio, I don’t believe the frickin’ phony polls that show Bozo ahead. McCain knows he is going to win, so does Sarah. Take your BS negativism and stick it.

Great minds think almost alike!

How do you make up for the loss of VA? What about your other states, particularly the Rust Belt and the Mountain Areas?

If NH goes McCuda, I’m upbeat. Ad PA to that...break out the bubbly!

Think in that model I have MO falling to McCain and if memory serves right IA too. Was playing around with the map at the LA Slimes site as it’s fairly easy to work with about a week ago.

Something tells me that if the upset happens in New England, NH and/or Maine EV, then PA remains “uncalled” by the media for a while, well it could be the opening for a good night. Of course both FL and OH have to come along too and with the ACORN fraud, that’s not guaranteed. And we of course must have NC stay in the fold.

Deviations from this would most likely spell a long night. But the open ended straight draw as I call it is possible.

be nice now...it was a legitimately expressed doubt...back up your stuff with facts/observations and not “faith” or personal attacks.
We are all on the same side.
As I have said Pa is the key.
Even my middle of PA weirdo sister-in-law who hates Palin voted for McCain...I almost fell off the bed when she called my wife to tell her. She never votes or is Dem.
