With so many polls showing Obama "ahead" you may be wondering why we should fight.
Here's why.
When you strip away the national polls and look down deep into each of the battleground states, you find that this is NOT a runaway election for Barack Obama.
In fact, the race is tied in almost ALL of the battleground states.
The Mason Dixon poll for Fla. and Virginia not only has Obama and McCain statistically tied, but up to 9% of voters in each state are still undecided.
We see the same trends in Ohio and Missouri.
For the past several weeks the media have been trumpeting every poll showing Obama ahead. Polls showing McCain-Palin's strength get shoved to the bottom of the page.
The media wants to create a "feeling" of Obama's imminent victory. It is nothing less than psychological warfare to drain you of your enthusiasm.
Don't buy into this nonsense.
We can win this!
I have been told that ever since we began airing our Obama and Rev. Wright ad in Ohio, McCain's decline stopped and he began to see a turnaround.
Right now we are pumping millions into both battleground states and into national TV ads.
Dick Morris says undecideds will swing in a big way behind McCain. But they need to be reminded how radical and risky Obama is.

You believe the Dispatch polls? Give me a break. They endorsed McCain only because of Old Man Wolfe. The Dispatch is a lefty rag.
Dick Morris notwithstanding, I’ve been wondering why in the world McCain isn’t still pounding on Wright. It’s still the most confusing and hurtful and damning thing about Barack for me, personally, and I’m as middle-of-the-road as they come. I can’t be the only one.
My take (as a Reagan-was-a-touch-liberal conservative) is that McCain’s team doesn’t wanna touch the black pastor tar baby. They’re keeping focus on security and economy. Let Palin, the swift boaters and pajamadeen take care of the other refuse.

The Obama people were hoping that the Evangelical base would not rally to McCain.
Palin changed that.
It was a brillant decision on his part.

Was listening to Fox satellite on the drive home today - apparently it is all over and we shouldn’t even bother voting on Tuesday.

I believe McCain himself stated he didn’t want to run ads featuring “reverend” Wright because he, McCain, didn’t want to be viewed as being racist and desparate. Amazing.
At least a 527 is helping to drag McCain across the finish line by running these ads for him.
FOX NEWS IS THE WORST. I just watched Chris Wallace and Brit pretty much say it is over. When McCain’s campaign manager was on and he made me feel hopeful and then David Plouffe came on and I didn’t think he was that great but then Brit almost Giddy falling all over himself saying this guy is a genius and I don’t sense that bluster like John Kerry’s campaign.
Who is right? What is Fox doing? Is it there way of making sure we get out and vote or are they trying to suppress it?
had the same feeling...i was pissed watching that. Just makes me want to vote more. I’d love to see these damn pundits choking on crow tuesday night. Brit really surprised me...
