You know I was reading that the obama was ready for the Wright flap. IT was coming from a hillary insider that basically laid it all out there. In fact there were quite a few things they were ready for that McCain didn’t engage in. Instead he picked Sarah palin and knocked them off guard.
I’m wondering now if McCain was smart staying out of it and leaving it to others to address. Maybe this is how you do it in the Military. Similar to how you dont line up with red coats in a straight line and just march forward.
I think McCain would have an effective ad if they just put Joe the Plumber in an ad asking people to Vote for John McCain and slamming spread the wealth. The one thing that the McCain campaign could have done better is controlling the buzz.
Me too Allegra. I am still kind of sad that this many are foaming at the mouth for an obvious narcissistic pathological liar. I mean they are under some sort of spell it’s so ridiculous. I watch how people act and I just think, “Dear God, what happened to reason?” I mean you might disagree with McCain, or even Palin, but even us that LOVE Sarah aren’t in some sort of blind manic obsession over her!
It’s all so surreal. Nothing about this campaign has been right and it’s become downright frightening.
I just found out the other day that Hitler only received 1/3 of the vote, but somehow got into power. He had the media in the bag. I’m afraid of that here.

6. US Weekly, a reasonable weekly magazine just released an article where they review "Barak Obama" and it is clear that they are scared. Their eyes were finally opened when the followed him on the campaign trail in South Carolina. They saw his race-baiting, white hating rants and insanity for the first time. They saw all of "Jeremiah Wright" and the "I Hate Amerca" side of Barak Hussein Obama come through that he has so completely lied to the public about and they have documented it. Now, they have also loaded their magazine with a LOT more information that shows you just how completely perverse and sick the "main stream" media outlets of ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, and CNN have become in trying to hide the real man who presents the biggest risk to America and the world since the Civil War. This was a “late closing” campaign, so waiting ‘til the last 72 hours was wise.
Man you have that right. This election is pinnacle. Obama will be looking for major payback. He will raise corporate rates and that will force 15-20% cuts in workforce and that will cause unemployment to spike and that will feed the downward spiral and he and the Democrats will use that as an excuse to tax and spend even more saying they need to help the people who are hurting. Then of course they will use the pain and misery to attack Republicans. It is the same old game except this time it is an end game.
By making that statement you are implying that the organization running the ad is dishonorable. There is nothing dishonorable about telling the truth regarding a presidential candidates character and qualifications, in fact it would come under a citizen duty. Mac is risking an American coup by refusing to open the doors of bambi's past just so he can take the "high road." Well I say freedom and America's security outweigh mac's image and I am disappointed that Mac does not see that.

I'm with you. Keep your powder dry, because we will not capitulate to Communism without a fight. And I suspect we conservatives are better prepared as fighters. :)

McCain has been fairly good about telegraphing his every move to Obama. Hell they announce their strategy to the press a week before.
I don’t mind in McCain taking the high road on this issue....especially when he knows that there are PAC’s and 527’s that will (and are) taking up the Wright ads.
It’s very surreal. If it’s any consolation, though, I was talking to some people at GOP headquarters the other day, and they said that the GOP is prepared for the “election” to go on for days if not weeks. In other words, when McCain wins, the Dems are going to start filing legal challenges and attempt to get Obama into power one way or another. But the GOP is prepared for this and Obama’s not going to get away with it.
I’m in NE Ohio and the ad has played two times since 7am.
