I believe the media will continue to decline because the tooth paste is out of the tube. I think the Democrats will try to bring back the fairness doctrine but I think that effort will fail because I the courts realize how wrong it is.

Add in market forces including the Internet and the Democrats would have to move us farther left than I doubt even they believe they can get away with.

You betcha, it has been interesting to see the venom they
have towards Sarah, and look back at how they have been
towards “W” since 2000. The dems have a total hatred towards
people who have conviction of their beliefs and ideas.

Talking to a lib is so hard to do, simply because they change
their minds and ideas as the wind blows, I have several acquaintances
which just happens to be dems (not libs) and they never seem
to have a core set of morals or values. They're all so scattered. LOL

We had a visiting nurse come and we had, as is our wont, Fox news on the kitchen TV. She sat and watched it with rapture.

"You know, I think he's backed by the Arabs," she said, softly as folks do when broaching a political subject.

Which caused me to launch into an invective about foreign moneys, William Ayers, Kahali, Rev. Wright....I know you find that difficult to believe about me.

Husband, still hooked up to his IV across the room God love him, joined in as he is, God love him again, slightly to the right of Atilla the Hun, insert smile here.

Few politicians could invoke the pure hatred and disdain Kerry receives from veterans and people knowledgeable concerning Vietnam.

I watched Kerry purger himself at those hearings and I will never forgive or forget.

...it has been overloading for me to watch any news lately. The bias and Obama love-ins are so over the top I have had a hard time watching.

Hopefully the commie media is screwing itself to death even as we DON'T watch. I tuned in to the scummy Meet the Press and hummed to myself as their resident poll propagandist made his "report".

I was grateful that Fred was on first (yes, I do understand it's so what's his name can get the last word) because I watched FRED and promptly turned OFF the TV when Fred's portion was over.

Why in the world would I stay to hear their ridiculous little band of witchdoctors anointing The One! I believe we are not alone in simply dumping the skanks.

What did you hear Rove say exactly? I may have missed that prediction of 300 electoral votes.

Allow me to clarify. Rove did NOT say that Obama would win the race. He did have a predicted electoral count of over 300 electoral college votes for OBama....302 I think but don't hold me to it.

Now doesn't it take 270 electoral votes to be the winner? Correct me if I'm wrong. Thus I extrapolate that Rove is predicting Obama is the winner.

But again, Rove did NOT say this but come on..... He predicts over 300 electoral votes for Obama and by me that's a winner.

As a matter of fact, it was James Carville who said, “Pennsylvania is Philadelphia and Pittsburgh with Alabama in between.”

the Appalachia region has reason to swing to JSM.

Polls have the electoral votes of Ohio(20), Pennsylvania(21), & Virgina(13) leaning to BHO.

If these 54 electoral votes swing to JSM then he will most likely win it; and that can happen because Barack Dumbo Obama deeply insulted the whole region by pejoratively calling them "bitter clingers".

pollster Todd on MTP all but ignored Pennsylvania and its 17 EV's in that first segment, implying it was not in play, and futile for Mac to reach the magic number. Later in the roundtable he contradicted himself.

Complete fraud....I can't wait until Wednesday when Obama, Democrats, pollsters, and Old Media all come crashing down.

Let’s face it. conservatism as we know it is over. we don’t have the numbers. the country will be majority minority (who tend to be dependant & collective) in 2 generations. government is going to get bigger and bigger.

This country survived Jimmy Carter and we will survive OBama.

The vast majority of this country is of a conservative bent. Most of them just don’t know it is all.

Go out and vote. My pitiful 115 pound husband with a damn brain infection is going to the polls, eagerly and with a smile on his face.

Stop whining, keep the faith, and in the event of a loss, STILL keep the faith and STILL do not whine.

Instead work feverously to install conservatives in your local area. In due course the times will change.

In an honest election, Obaba would lose in a landslide worse than George McGovern. Unfortunately, it is obvious this is not going to be an honest election. Phony ACORN voters by the hundreds of thousands will vote in key states and the dead will rise to do the same in the usual places. And even if McCain wins, the lawsuits will drag it out and likely get some strategic favorable judgments for Obama which may turn the election around.

The Left has learned their lesson from Florida 2000 and has spent 8 years sharpening their legal knives. Just look what they have managed to accomplish in Ohio with a few sympathetic politicians and judges!

Nevertheless, I agree with you McCain will probably win, at least initially. The down ballot candidates will be a disaster, though. The Dims have managed to pin the blame tail on the GOP elephant, once again, and the GOP seems incapable of countering the avalanche of lies. The Dims managed that in 2006 and they and their media allies seem to have accomplished the same feat this year.

November 4th will likely be a sad day for Truth, Justice, and the American Way. Hopefully, McCain/Palin will win and at least put a partial block onto the ongoing assault on a Constitutional American government and society.
