Obama Campaign to Return Aunt's Donations

Updated 1:01 p.m. By Matthew Mosk The campaign of Sen. Barack Obama will refund a small number of contributions made by Obama's aunt, who has been living in the United States illegally, according to a published report.

The woman, Zeituni Onyango, lives in public housing in Boston and is the half-sister of Obama's late father.

The Associated Press reported today that Obama's aunt had been instructed to leave the country four years ago by an immigration judge who rejected her request for asylum from her native Kenya.

Obama campaign reports filed with the Federal Election Commission show Onyango gave $265 to the campaign. Foreign nationals are not permitted to donate to American presidential campaigns.

Where was Obie while she was seeking asylum?

Why did she not seek help from the Esteemed Constitutional Scholar in gaining legal residence?

McCain has proved to me that he's an old has-been that has no heart for the battle. This is the type of issue that deals with immigration, honesty, criminality and every other issue that would benefit McCain if he challenged Obama on it but he won't.

Remember McCain is NOT fighting for your vote but for the remaining 10%. These “wishy-washy-why-can't-we-get-along-they-wet-their-pants-on-displays-of-partisianship” undecideds who might think that to make an issue of it was being mean & petty.
Unfortunately that's what our elections have degenerated into a battile for the votes of the least informed & least engaged.

Exactly - it says the certificate exists. But it has not been said where the certificate shows he was BORN, and etc. as you mentioned.

If Obama was born in Hawaii, there would be no reason to hold out.

Maybe the certificate he has shown was one given to him by his Grandparents who didn't want him to know the truth about his real father, or place of birth.

Maybe Obama had the fake document created, and now, to have that fraud known would collapse his whole party. He owes too much to too many people. He might have caught himself in a trap that will not only destroy him in the race, but destroy his career.

But, if that fake document is one he was given by his family, and he didn't know it was fake then, and does now...I am sure his trip to Hawaii was to make sure the Granny and family kept quiet about it and what they might have done years ago to protect him from any embarassment.

EXCERPT Barack Obama's campaign confirmed yesterday that his aunt Zeituni Onyango lives in a brick public housing complex on a side street for five years.

Onyango is Obama's paternal aunt, one of several children of the senator's grandfather, Hussein Onyango Obama. In his memoir, "Dreams From My Father," Obama refers to Onyango affectionately as Aunt Zeituni and recalls that she was the first person to greet him when he stepped off a plane for the first time in Kenya. " 'Welcome home,' Zeituni said, kissing me on both cheeks," Obama wrote.

Onyango, who is paid a small stipend for working as a health advocate in her housing complex.......A city housing official who visited Onyango this week found the walls of her apartment adorned with photographs of Obama, including some that appeared to be more than two decades old.

FEC records show Onyango donated at least five times to her nephew's campaign in July and September. Three of the donations were for $5 each, and two of the donations were for $25. Records compiled by The Huffington Post show she gave a total of $260 to the campaign.

Romney’s workers were illegal and it was 24/7 coverage. I’m betting if Palin once shook hands with someone who was an illegal it would be 24/8 coverage (Yes I think they would create an entire extra day of the week just to cover the story)

If she donated via the internet but has no pc, maybe someone else used her name yet he said he didn’t know she was there in that slum. She doesn’t seem like she would have a pc, let alone credit cards. Lots of poor people don’t have credit cards. They may have a checkbook and a food stamp card.
