Election 2008: Pennsylvania Presidential Election Obama Leads By Four in Pennsylvania
Saturday, November 01, 2008
In Pennsylvania, John McCain is getting closer, but Barack Obama is still attracting a majority of voters.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of voters in the state shows Obama with 51% of the vote while McCain picks up 47%. That four-point advantage for Obama is down from a seven-point margin earlier in the week and a 13-point advantage for Obama earlier in the month.
Just 75% of Pennsylvania Democrats now support their partys nominee, down from 86% in the previous survey. Obama is doing a bit better among unaffiliated voters while Republican support for McCain remains steady (see crosstabs).

We can cross our fingers, but I’m afraid it’s a little to late to change PA.
Close hard McCain/Palin!
He’s getting 80% of his base nationally. Gore got 92%, and Kerry got 89%, and both lost. Obama cannot win w/o massive ACORN voter fraud. Hopefully that has been cleaned up to some extent.
McCain/Palin is gong to WIN PA and the ELECTION!
It’s not too late until the polls close on Tuesday.
McCain will win Pennsylvania and the Electoral College.
I think thats a high number in Pa.
Oh geez! Man up would you!@ All the reports on the ground point to massive Reagan dems going for McCain in PA, way more than what Rassmussen shows above.
defeatist bullcrap!!
High in what sense?
Why would you want to change it when we're ahead?
How can “The One” be leading in their poll that claims he has a four point lead yet is only garnering 75% of democrats...?
Don’t count those racist rednecks out yet. With the way polls oversample DEMS, a 4 point gap in Bambi’s favor probably means a 5 point McCain advantage.
Re-read the headline - Hussein is still ahead by 4 points.
It's truly amazing how much of this stuff is shoveled at us by the MSM. They have a powerful tool--when you see something like that on the "news" it instantly takes the wind out of you.
No idea how Tuesday's going to go--I tend to think Obama will win--but it's amazing how thick they're laying it on.
I’ve got access to the Ras internals.
Trust me, Ras is giving the same or more sauce that he’s giving to the national polls — relying on a >7% Dem advantage over 2004.
No mention of the undecided vote will will break big for McCain.
But KDKA radio just said it was a double digit lead in PA and a McCain comeback was impossible.
