At a candidate forum in Boca Raton last night, the G.O.P. candidate running against Rep. Alcee Hastings, former Chief Medical Officer for the state of Florida Dr. Marion Thorpe, filed a police report claiming the congressman threatened his life.
Impeached former judge Hastings is the poster child for the scum that is the current US Congress. Every single damn one of them needs to be kicked out.
Go get that cretin Hastings. That this man is able to be a member of the US house is a blight on all of us.

Hastings is the same lowlife who was impeached and removed from office as a Federal judge, isn’t he?
I wouldn’t call him the scum of the earth, because the scum of the earth (per the Duke of Wellington) could be made into “fine fellows” by the British Army’s discipline. Hastings lacks this redeeming feature.

In the old days this would have been settled in the street, either bare knuckles, boot knives, or perhaps a pair of Thompson Contenders. I think the old ways led to a more civil rivalry, or at least a quicker (and sometimes more lasting) conclusion.
What is this district like? How could they elect this scumbag? Is this a gerrymandered district where he’s elected only because of his race?

This part of the constitution only applies to white people ‘cause black people weren’t “citizens” when it was written.
What Hastings did to Dr. Thorpe is shameful. He’s a great candidate who can bring many African-Americans to the fold and is a crucial voice against socialized health care. The good news is that McCain’s winning on the ground. It’s the exact opposite of how the media’s trying to portray it.
Hastings has a long record of pulling stuff like this. The dumbed down Obamanites are the only thing keeping him in Congress.
