For those that are despairing about the polls and this election, the Democrats for McCain influence is being understated.

Then why does your headline read that they’re splitting for Obama?

The headline says they’re splitting for Obama but the first sentence says they’re splitting for McCain. Which is it?

There are a lot of democrats choosing to sit this election out as well. I’ve got a very liberal family and the older ones (aunts and uncles) are voting Nader or not at all the younger cousins are mind numbed robots.

Everyone here hopes you’re right I’m sure. Would polling samples not catch dramatic defections?

Splitting the vote as in having operatives splitting their time voting multiple times?

I think a lot more dems are going Repub than Pubs going Dem. I am tired of the damn polls. Lets vote and let the chips fall. At least we will know What cards we have. I am all in.

the Democrats for McCain influence is being understated.

And even that is an understatement. The Mac dems will be the story of this election. They have been called racists, bitter clinger gun toting bible thumpers, bigots, and through acorn voted fraud gypped hill out of the nomination. The will exact their revenge on bambi and it will be so incredibly sweet we will all be high until new years.

Wonder if McCain will think he owes more to Dems who voted for him than conservatives, hmmm? Just a rhetorical question, no need to answer until after the election.

Take note WREC 600 AM in Memphis, Tn had their first seminar bho caller tonight on the Mike Fleming show, her name was Amy supposedly a doctor who had a conversation with a fellow worker who was black that ‘magically’ opened her eyes to bho and the small business plans he has.

Hillary nearly broke even with Obami. That means nearly 50% of the party backed her. I have read that something like one in three Clinton supporters have decided to back McCain/Palin.

If this is true, and some of the reports now seem to support something like this taking place, Obami is dead in the water.

You can’t take a 1/6th or 16.66% hit on your base, as not be in serious trouble.

Obama is in trouble.

If he fails on November 4th, we’re going to see an onslaught of reporting that will absolutely pulverize the guy after the fact.

Some of it will take place anyway, even if he wins.

The 401K policy by Obama should be the bullet that killed his hopes.

The second bullet was Obama’s revelations about “spreading the wealth” with Joe the Plumber. No one with any sense is going to allow bait and switch when it comes to taxes.

Excellent news, and in my home anyway it’s true. I’m sure my wife would have voted for Hillary. She loathes Obama to the point where it sickens her to listen to him speak. I’ll catch her saying things while watching election coverage like “You boobs! This is just like Hitler in the ‘30’s! How can you be so blind?” Before this, I thought it would take longer than the production of a star to change her thinking. Lo, and behold the “Messiah” appeared. As a registered dem she gets called all the time by Obama’s weird people and she is taking particular relish in replying to them that Obama is toast. They call over and over looking for a different result too. It’s getting hilarious.

At the risk of repeating myself yet again ...

That party in Grant Park is going to be a real stinker ... might turn out to be quite a bit like the one they held there in 1968.

In the Youngstown OH area-there are not as many osamaobama signs as one would expect given the heavy D presence in the area. I’m getting the sense that within a lot of these blue collar families-the husband isn’t keen about voting for a socialist (despite what their union leaders say) and the wives have really been drawn to Palin. The attacks on her by the media appear to have backfired.
