Obama Will Lose PA, Just Like He Did April 22, 2008
by murphy on October 28, 2008
Im more convinced than ever. Between the race card, the sneering attitude of the media class, and the basic reflex of every American citizen to REJECT a canididate who does not represent their interests Obama will lose Pennsylvania next Tuesday. Maybe even by a wide margin. Americans arent stupid Democrats arent stupid and neither are Republicans. There is NOTHING wrong with Kansas. This is a LIE. A lie perpetrated by the elite and esoteric theorists of the punditocracy because it is an effective goad to keep us fighting EACH OTHER rather than focusing our efforts on holding the Powers that Be accountable.
A tectonic shift in the attitude of the electorate, a great re-alignment, is underway. Dont look to the TV for news of this shift. They wont be talking about it until next Thursday, earliest. By Januray or February someone like Brooks or Frank will write a book titled The Great Re-Alignment, or some such, but we dont need a pundit to know which way the wind is blowing.
Americans, especially Democrats, are waking up. Not, like Gregor Samsa, as Republicans (of course not!) but as unaffiliated American citizens. People who have realized that the Parties are entrenched, out of touch, and CLUELESS. Corrupt even. And did I mention spineless, self-serving, greedy, and second-rate?
We are the real Democratic Party. A few maniacs may have burned our house down, but were all together out here on the street, watching and waiting until we can put the fire out for good on Novemeber 4th. And then well start digging a new foundation.
(Why I believe obama will lose Pennsylvania. From Hillbuzz:
In Pennsylvania, we are not alone.
The same people who ran the board for us in the primary who assured us daily that the polls the media was pushing were wrong in claiming Obama would beat Clinton in PA tell us on a daily basis that McCain is going to win Pennsylvania. Theres a damn good chance this wont even be close, if what people are seeing on the ground right now holds, and is indicative of the whole state.
DEMOCRATS are staffing McCain offices across the state. DEMOCRATS are phone banking and canvassing for McCain. DEMOCRATS are raising large sums to fund this last week of campaigning.
DEMOCRATS.
This has NEVER happened before and the media is ignoring it.
A-yup.
Ive added a Contribute button to the sidebar on the right. Please send what you can, if you can. And thank you because we really are a bunch of scruffy, regular people not a Republican front, not receiving ANY support from ANY outside groups or candidates or rich people.
Hizzonor Governor Fast Eddie Rendell called into Comcast Sports for a chat after the Philly’s win tonight - he was on a bus in mid Penna somewhere after giving a campaign speech at some college - didn’t sound too happy, considering his city’s team had just won the world series -complaining about the sports bar where he had eaten and making cracks about how some of those Phillies who weren’t really stars had come through for the team that night - just perhaps things aren’t going all so well on the campign trail for poor Eddie.......
McCain is going to win PA by a margin large enough to make the news clowns on MSNBC cry on the air. I plan on switching from Fox News for a little while just to watch them moan.
Fox will be moaning too; they're mostly pushing O'Bummer too.
I was on the phone tonight yelling at my friend in Virginia, who is traveling to Texas this weekend and hasn’t voted yet, to go vote. He said he could vote absentee in person at the registrar’s office. Is this true? I tried to stress to him how important his vote was and how important Virginia was. His wife and daughter are strong McCain/Palin supporters btw.
I can agree with that notion, the Republican Party is no longer as consistent as we once were, we no longer are as focused, and we sort of have lost an idea of what we are all about.
The way I see it, the Reagan Co-Alition of Social Conservatives, Military Hawks, and Pro Business is on the verge of no longer functioning.
SoCons are the ones who take hits with trade deals, being somewhat High School only oriented, the Business wing wants more trade deals and Amnesty and open borders and the Military Hawks are worn out (somewhat) 8 years of war will do that, add in the Budget Hawks being ignored for the last couple of budgets and we do not have our philosophical ducks in a row.
It’s nothing that cannot be remedied IMO.
You bet he is.
Oversampling Democrats and assuming that Democrats are going to vote for Obama.
“back-to-back Altimarie (I think he *might* be in trouble given the amount of cash they are firing his way) & Irey ads.”
Ugh....sorry, I meant Melissa Hart....had a 2006 depression flashback there :-)!
Even Democrat black voters are starting to turn on Obama, and going to vote for McCain/Palin.....
I always wonder how much of his psycholgist background he uses in DC? Alot of narcissistic personality disorders there ;)PaMom
Reply: Whoa, take it easy! PaMom and I were just having a civilized exchange of opinions.
I didn't mean us Freepers. I'm talking about us and the PUMA's. I want to get along with them for as long as possible. And it will probably be over on 5 November, but for time being, we need every helper and every vote we can get.
I have a wonderful story on that...I talked politics with a black lady a few days ago. She is a Christian and said her whole church was pushing for Obama, but she didn't feel right in her heart about him.
So I told her where to look on youTube and she found the clips I wanted her to see, plus more. She will be voting for McCain.
The one black preacher named Manning (on YouTube) who is loudy preaching against Obama, he made an impact on her. He is a bit extreme in his approach, but he communicated to her.
And he said something interesting...Obama got where he is by 'Affirmative Action'. I never thought about it...very true. He would have never gotten that far if he was white.

Seriously. I don’t mind if people disagree with me on issues. I can’t deal with the nuts. The PUMAs are the Dems of the past. The people you could reasonably debate with and agree to disagree. Without having to watch your back as you walked away.
Yesterday in Murrysville I saw a hand made sign about 4 ft x 2 ft and handpainted. It said “Vote Pro Life or Answer to God”. Pretty straighforward.
I can’t see your picture.
What is it?
(and I did give 20.00 to PUMApac)
There is a stained glass place in North Huntingdon Twp., right on Rte 30, and their message board...
Choose Life, yor mother did. Vote McCain/Palin.
I believe my family will be giving stained glass pieces as Christmas gifts. (FReep mail me if anyone wants the name of the place).
>>But if McCain wins, and they start the Hillary2012 campaign the next day, then the hell with them. <<
Many of the PUMAs are very Pro-Palin. You need to read their sites.
I think you’ll actually see the PUMAs split if it’s a Hillary/Palin race. Many of them adore Sarah just as much.
And like it or not, these ARE the Dems we can work with. If you read about them, they are like my sister. Social libs but fiscal conservatives. I swear, it’s true!
I got yelled at another thread when I said I hoped we could continue to work with the PUMAs, even though we disagree on issues. But, I see it as things once were in this country. We disagree on how things should be, but both still love our country. It’s better to be able to disagree on issues and work together when needed, rather than always saying the other side is evil and the enemy. Unless they truly are.
