Obama Will Lose PA, Just Like He Did April 22, 2008

by murphy on October 28, 2008

I’m more convinced than ever. Between the race card, the sneering attitude of the media class, and the basic reflex of every American citizen to REJECT a canididate who does not represent their interests Obama will lose Pennsylvania next Tuesday. Maybe even by a wide margin. Americans aren’t stupid — Democrats aren’t stupid and neither are Republicans. There is NOTHING wrong with Kansas. This is a LIE. A lie perpetrated by the elite and esoteric theorists of the punditocracy because it is an effective goad to keep us fighting EACH OTHER rather than focusing our efforts on holding the Powers that Be accountable.

A tectonic shift in the attitude of the electorate, a great re-alignment, is underway. Don’t look to the TV for news of this shift. They won’t be talking about it until next Thursday, earliest. By Januray or February someone like Brooks or Frank will write a book titled “The Great Re-Alignment,” or some such, but we don’t need a pundit to know which way the wind is blowing.

Americans, especially Democrats, are waking up. Not, like Gregor Samsa, as Republicans (of course not!) but as unaffiliated American citizens. People who have realized that the Parties are entrenched, out of touch, and CLUELESS. Corrupt even. And did I mention spineless, self-serving, greedy, and second-rate?

We are the real Democratic Party. A few maniacs may have burned our house down, but we’re all together out here on the street, watching and waiting until we can put the fire out for good on Novemeber 4th. And then we’ll start digging a new foundation.

(Why I believe obama will lose Pennsylvania. From Hillbuzz:

In Pennsylvania, we are not alone.

The same people who ran the board for us in the primary — who assured us daily that the polls the media was pushing were wrong in claiming Obama would beat Clinton in PA — tell us on a daily basis that McCain is going to win Pennsylvania. There’s a damn good chance this won’t even be close, if what people are seeing on the ground right now holds, and is indicative of the whole state.

DEMOCRATS are staffing McCain offices across the state. DEMOCRATS are phone banking and canvassing for McCain. DEMOCRATS are raising large sums to fund this last week of campaigning.

DEMOCRATS.

This has NEVER happened before — and the media is ignoring it.”

A-yup.

I’ve added a Contribute button to the sidebar on the right. Please send what you can, if you can. And thank you — because we really are a bunch of scruffy, regular people — not a Republican front, not receiving ANY support from ANY outside groups or candidates or rich people.

I guess McCain has had the the same info that this poster at Hillbuzz is hearing that PA is major in-play! And everyone thought he was nuts to be campaigning so hard in PA. I've been pretty pumped all day. I think McCain is going to win this thing, and quite possibly win it BIG! Oh how cool it will be to see the Obamalamadingdong party "of 1,000,000 people" in Chicago have a serious Kleenex shortage on Tuesday!

You people who live in Chicago might want to be out of town in case Obam-uh's faithful start torching the City! It was obviously planned in their usual arrogance, but I thought it was pretty stupid for Mayor Daley to be encouraging all those people to come if he loses. But they arrogantly thought they had it in the bag. OOPS.

I want to see them freezing in the dark, in Lincoln Park, surrounded by armed troops to keep them from firing up Chicago.

I'd give it credence. The truth, ignored by the MSM, is that up to 20% of Democrats will NOT vote for Obama. So he's getting around 80% and unless there's a 5-7+ Dem advantage he won't win. Do the math. Gore had 92% and Kerry had 89% and they both lost.

The PUMA’s are more energized then the Republicans were..lol!

We shall see, the Obamaomercial has finished running, no one knows what effect it might have, we have to see what happens when that washes through the polls.

I suspect mostly Obamaoistas watched it, “but” such a gamble has not been taken before in US Presidential Elections.

You know who the PUMA’s remind me of?

Zell Miller Democrats, just disenfranchised Democrats who no longer have a place in “their” party.

RealClear Politics shows PA in the solid blue category with total solid blue 259 to McCain’s solid red 127.

Man, I hope they are so far wrong that McCain can pull this out. It won’t be a big win but maybe we can squeak by.

I’ve always believed Johnny Mc would win PA - now if he can just win the big enchilada.

Unless Obama can steal it, with hundreds of thousands of bogus votes in the Dem-machine cities, I also think McCain will win big in PA.

The average working class stiff isn’t going to vote for Obama, but the big city machines certainly will.

At one time ACORN and the activists were in Daley’s face in Chicago, but he’s too smart to allow that sort of thing to continue, so he allied himself with the likes of Farrakhan and Wright and Ayres and Obama.

How many votes can Obama steal in Philly? That’s what worries me, not that he can actually win this honestly.

That is exactly what has been the talk around the Coffee pot at work. Dems want there party back or they may switch allegiance to Ind.

None of the Dems I know will vote for Obama. I know first time voters that registered just to vote against him. Everyone I talk to loves Sarah. Yet we are getting creamed by numbers that look like Santorum/Swann in 06 according to the polls. I just don’t buy it.

That's laughable. My map on 270towin shows McCain winning 307 EV to Obama's 231 EV. If we exclude PA its the same as in 2004 except NM and NH have flipped places again.

I'm becoming more confident by the day that McCain can pull off a win.

The thing that concerns me is that Obama will be able to cheat his way into office. I'm sure unless it's a blow out that we will see law suits etc. that make 11/2000 look like a birthday party. McCain will have to do much better than he normally would just to neutralize the Acorn effect.

The polls aren't honest - the media seeks to shape opinion rather than reflect it, that's why they're all over the place.

I am familiar with this reputable PUMA site and I think that Freepers would do well to consider donating to help them as they are uniquely positioned to sway Democrats wary of Obama into voting for McCain.

They can do what McCain can't do because the voters in question are not attuned to listen to Republican voices.

Pumapac is turning a lot of Obama voters into McCain voters, and these are people who are actually going to show up and vote.

I really appreciate them, but, they are Hillary supporters which means that believe in her ideology.
