You know the videotape that shows
Barack Obama toasting PLO terrorist Rashid Khalidi? The one that the Los Angeles Times
refuses to release?
"The Los Angeles Times did not publish the videotape because it was provided to us by a confidential source who did so on the condition that we not release it," said the newspaper's editor, Russ Stanton...
How frickin' stupid do they think we are? Someone gave the Times a videotape
so it wouldn't be released? And they can't publish a transcript?
I guess that's the kind of executive talent the newspaper business is attracting these days.
However, I received a tip from a person who has provided useful, accurate and unique data from LA before (e.g., "
All six of CNN's 'undecided voters' were Democratic operatives"). Take it for what it's worth, but I believe this person is on target.
Saw a clip from the tape. Reason we can't release it is because statements Obama said to rile audience up during toast. He congratulates Khalidi for his work saying "Israel has no God-given right to occupy Palestine" plus there's been "genocide against the Palestinian people by Israelis."
It would be really controversial if it got out. Tha's why they will not even let a transcript get out.
Yep, I guess that would do it.

The more the LA times keeps this tape under wraps, the more media attention it gets. If the thing had been released without any fanfare, nobody would have noticed (except we freepers). If and when it does get released, the PR on it will be all whipped into a frenzy. Much better the way this is going down.Good point!!! When Bill Clinton was in the White House there were always rumors of a 'damaging revelation'. Everyone got whipped to a frenzy and then when the revelation came out it usually wasn't too bad. In this case it would be best if the tape remains 'unreleased'.

That’s exactly right. If the tape isn’t damaging to 0bama, and it’s harmless, then release it. If it’s not released one can only assume the worst.
Just like his birth certificate.
Just like his undergraduate records and writings.
Just like his law school records and writings.
Just like his state senate records.
And so on...

Rush says Jews are Liberals first.
Dennis Prager, talk-radio host related his gut-wrenching decision
at casting his first vote for a Republican...due to the multi-generational
family loyalty to the Democrats. (Prager is an observant Jew,
of the "Conservative" strain.)
And he's had a number of other Jewish callers relate their stuggle
to mark the ballot for candidates with an "R" by the name.
But I suspect that if Obama is really exposed as a true friend
of some Palestinian/Islamic terrorist/organizer, there will be
a fair number of Jewish voters vote R. What that "fair number" is,
well that's above my paygrade.

Yep - except I think it’ll break early Friday so it can soak over Halloween and the weekend. Friday is going to be “the big news day” for both sides. Breaking news all over the place on Friday.

“I think that the McCain camp demanding that the tape be released makes me think that they have a copy of the tape”
If so, tomorrow morning would be the time for maximum impact.
It would take the wind out of the sail of any MO Zero gets out of his infomercial.

The dimocrats and their appeasers, their billionaire buddies like Soro and Mr. Microsoft, are desperate to get into the White House, so that they will control all three branches of the government. Then, and only then, with total, UNCHECKED POWER, they can do everything for every one of their appeasers, abettors, liars, cheats, thieves, thugs, terrorist, global warming enviro wacko buddies, can all get everything they have always wanted, passed. No drilling, no oil exploration anywhere in the USA, cutting the military WHICH THEY ALL HATE TOO THE CORE, taxing, taxing and more taxing.

I think that the McCain camp demanding that the tape be released makes me think that they have a copy of the tape. They will make these demands and the LA Times will stonewall. Then out of nowhere, someone will come forward with a copy of the tape......tomorrow morning for all to see.
Is it possible that Hillary's people might have given a copy of the tape to the McCain camp?

“why anyone would give a tape to a FREAKIN’ NEWSPAPER and then not want it released or even QUOTED FROM?”
That’s Bogus. No one would do that.

I had a very insightful conversation with a friend of mine last week. He is a 14th generation Catholic whose family left Pakistan when he was a boy due to religious persecution. Quite remarkably, he knows the names of all his ancestors and can trace them back 14 generations in Pakistan. His grandfather was once some sort of high ranking religious administrator in the Pakistani government.
He had NOTHING good to say about Obama. In fact, he shocked me with how he knows first hand what Muslims believe and are willing to do to gain control. He firmly believes Obama is a Muslim, and is doing as is told to him in the Koran- deceive in the name of Allah to bring about his law.

Rush says Jews are Liberals first Not all, by any means. At my synogogue, upwards of 80% are voting for McCain. Many are disaffected Dems, to be sure, but many are dyed-in-the-wool conservatives.
Things have changed somewhat since the days when most Jews were poor immigrants.
As for me, my paternal grandfather ran from the Communists in 1923. His father, a somewhat wealthy man (because he worked his fingers to the bone) lost everything to them, including the ability to be able to see two of his children for the rest of his life (those that came to the US). I was raised knowing the evils of the Left, and I will never support them (as with most of my family).

Don't reply to this post. I won't respond. Don't Freepmail me. I won't respond.
There is much, much worse from Obama on the tape than this thread claims.
huh?
To: Pondo
Exactly. Blogs & news now have free license to speculate as to the wildest and most imaginative scenarios possible. And that means not only the contents of the tape, but deep, dark conspiracies involving the press.
If the LAT does eventually release the tape, it will be to dispel rumors that have become worse than facts.

what about the book mentioned in the NY Sun article?
A big farewell dinner was held in their honor by AAAN with a commemorative book filled with testimonials from their friends and political allies.
