Not all, by any means. At my synogogue, upwards of 80% are voting for McCain. Many are disaffected Dems, to be sure, but many are dyed-in-the-wool conservatives.
Things have changed somewhat since the days when most Jews were poor immigrants.
As for me, my paternal grandfather ran from the Communists in 1923. His father, a somewhat wealthy man (because he worked his fingers to the bone) lost everything to them, including the ability to be able to see two of his children for the rest of his life (those that came to the US). I was raised knowing the evils of the Left, and I will never support them (as with most of my family).
