Calling all FReepers, calling all FReepers...testing, testing!!!
In an effort to take our message to the people, Jim Robinson has agreed to allow us to test getting our message out to the Digg news/discussion board (one of the largest in the country). What follows are a number of articles and videos that all link back to FreeRepublic via Digg. Please click on each link below, sign in (or sign up if you haven't done so already), and Digg these articles to the top by pressing the Digg icon on the left side of the screen (that is, after each link below takes you to the Digg site).
Again, this is just a test to see how high we can bump up our articles over there using our combined FreeperPower!

Okay. However, if the mods don’t put this thread back up in Breaking News, we aren’t going to have the numbers to make a significant difference. Oh well.
The other thread (”Jim Robinson Has Given Us Permission to start a Digg page”) is still in Breaking news.
It already has 4,938+ views.
(This one only has 554+ views)
The articles have around 50 digs each.
If this thread could get the exposure that the other one is getting, we could make a big impact.

Did you post that one? I was thinking we should post the articles here, then post the FR link on Digg so interested traffic comes here. That way we expand the reach of our message, and we expand the number of FReepers. What do you think???

I'm not sure about submitting articles posted on FR from other news sites.
I think posting a daily Digg thread and posting the top 5-10 articles to Digg would be the best strategy. Then ping those who are interested in Digging. You can add me to the ping list.Guidelines for Submission
All of Digg's content is submitted by people just like you, so thanks for submitting. There are just a few simple things to keep in mind:
- Submit things you think a lot of other people might be interested in.
- Link to the original source, not a site that's simply copying others' work.
