What we want to do is either post new Digg articles/videos, or identify already existing Digg articles/videos, that tell the REAL STORY of Barack "the socialist revolutionary" Obama. Let's come up with a TOP 5 articles and a TOP 5 videos list and use FReeper power to Digg them to the top so that non-FReepers too become aware of the most dangerous presidential candidate in our nation's history!
Please place all Digg suggestions in the threads. DO NOT PROVIDE LINKS TO NON DIGG ARTICLES AND VIDEOS. IF YOU WANT YOUR ARICLE OR VIDEO TO BE CONSIDERED, PUT IT ON DIGG FIRST AND THEN PROVIDE THE LINK.
Once the top five of each has been identified, let's all sign up over at Digg and DIGG THESE LINKS TO THE TOP!!! Then FReepmail, email, and round up people from every conservative forum you can think of and encourage them to do the same!
Please place your Digg suggestions below. Once we have settled on the initial five articles and five videos, a new post with the links will appear at the top of "Breaking News" and will be kept there!!! Remember, taken together, these links need to tell a story.
So let's get off our rear-ends, bypass the MSM, and get the vote out people!!!
Do you have a link for the story on Digg?
The point is to find is to find a conservative article or video on Digg, or post a conservative article or video on Digg, then give us the Digg address so we can all Digg your selection to the top. If you just give us a random link, then we have to do the work for you. You do the initial work of getting your fellow FReepers the link, and then we spring into action by Digging it to the top, and thus projecting our message in such a way to influence and educate potential voters.
Question.....
Do you suggest the posted article on DIGG be directly linked to its original source, example, Fox News, NYTIMES, Gallup.
Or do you suggest it first be posted on FR and then posted on DIGG with the FR URL as its link source?
I remember reading (in 2006) a post on the lib. (daily) cossacks forum that “the right wingers got a hold on digg”.

Doesn’t make it wrong... needs to be done on the beta site - as much and as often as possible.
As for the “loud minority” - either you’re the anchor, or the sail.
I believe that the whole point in “digg”ing is similar to that of FReeping online polls. On stories and videos that you think are important and that others should see, you “digg” them so that the number of “diggs” goes up and it reaches the top dugg stories. It’s kinda like “ping”ing or “bump”ing on a message board, except there is a much much bigger audience using “digg”. The idea is not at all to replace FR, but to take the articles found by members of this board and digg them so that they can attract a much bigger audience.

It wouldn’t be promoting Digg anymore than FReeping polls promotes the polls. The whole point is to get our message out. First we post it or find it here on FR. Then we post it on forums like Digg, and then we have our fellow FReepers Digg it to the top. In many cases, when a Digger clicks on the link, it will take them right back here! Who knows, it may even expand our rolls!!! Think of it as FRee advertising for FreeRepublic :o)

Thanks for posting this - very interesting - had never heard of Digg before but I can see how this could be very useful for us to get the truth out to the masses about the socialists coming our way. Fact is, if Obama loses, he’ll just run again and again; I don’t think money is going to be an issue and he’s got time on his side right now.

I’m not sure, but I just set up an account and went to >News>Political and I got a huge list of anti McCain articles, so I added one of my own about the 401k’s...I’m guessing we’ll catch on as we go.... it would be nice to counter some of these anti McCain people.. many have hits over 4000..
