An Arkansas television anchorwoman died Saturday, several days after she didn't answer her wake-up call and was found beaten in her home, hospital officials said.

Anne Pressly, 26, died at St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center, hospital spokeswoman Margaret Preston said.

But I can't figure out why anyone might object so strenuously to us spending time inconveniencing a few electrons discussing the brutal murder of an attractive local news anchorperson, unless you are perhaps afraid of someone spotting a pattern, an inconsistency, or coming up with information which might solve the crime.

ok my apologiez for misunderstanding the article. very tragic, and i thought i caught a thread that the guy who did this used her CC.

to be honest i don’t think that many people saw “W”, it flopped. people go to the movies for entertainment, not a 1 sided story about a politician. They may have been coincidental but i can’t speculate.

Anyway, the catch on this can;t be soon enough. you’d think with todays dna matching etc something would have been very tracable.

Violent crime is indeed a political issue. OBAMA , for example, opposes the death penalty, something he has not been made to answer for in this campaign. As a state legislator, he sponsored “profiling” legislation which requires Illinois police to record the race of every motorist they subject to a traffic stop. (To avoid being tagged as “racist”, cops now are reluctant to stop suspicious cars with Black occupants, a factor that has led to an upward spike in violence in the Black neighborhoods in Chicago, including that of Obama.)

another poorly written headline. while i am not a grammar fanatic, as a technical illustrator i have a certain attention to detail. one could infer from the way this headline is written the woman died after being beaten in the hospital. this is the 5th or 6th ambiguous headline i have read this week. maybe it’s just me.

another example “man killed by car on motorcycle.” how did the car get on the motorcycle and did this combination run the man down?

Obama hurt the black community with that law. Cops working in the black community, usually poor and crime ridden, will make have to make drastically fewer stops to keep from exceeding a number that will brand them “racsists”.

Uh, if our leaders had anything to do with this, you won’t see anything else about this in the news. So far nobody has contested the break in story, because whoever did this expertly made it look like a robbery. The nature of the attack is highly inconsistent with a home invasion, and what criminal that just robbed a house and killed someone would go chill down the block at a gas station and use the just murdered persons credit card? That woman saw\heard\found something and was probably eliminated, but we will never know the truth.
