another poorly written headline. while i am not a grammar fanatic, as a technical illustrator i have a certain attention to detail. one could infer from the way this headline is written the woman died after being beaten in the hospital. this is the 5th or 6th ambiguous headline i have read this week. maybe it’s just me.
another example “man killed by car on motorcycle.” how did the car get on the motorcycle and did this combination run the man down?
not trying to be funny. this is the kind of amgiguity that causes ballot issues to be misread when yes means no, etc.
