Adding a tidbit here:

I contacted the Department of Homeland Security to see if I could register our local party with the new eVerify system. That way, when a candidate wants to run for office, we can use that tool to vet them.

Guess what. DHS told me we can’t use that tool because the candidates don’t work for us. This wasn’t just a thrown out answer to me either. I went on hold, transfered, then transfered again. It wasn’t a football pass either. I ended up on a conference line with several people as they discussed this.

The end result was, our officials don’t work for us so we can’t vet them.

BUT, when you put a candidate up for ballot, the state ELECs all say a candidate comes to them vetted by the party running the candidate.

Something doesn’t work right here.

That deserves a Vanity Post If I have ever heard of one and I just posted one! Put this up on a thread of its own Calpernia. This is an issue that should be seen by as many people as possible.

Something doesn't work right here.

You and I and just about everyone on FR knows why "something doesn't work." That "something" is the leadership of today's Democrat Party, which thinks that the Constitution of the United States doesn't apply to them, and they can therfore nominate a constitutionally ineligible candidate for POTUS! This is so brazen and so unprecedented an attempt at a dictatorship that it seems we don't have appropriate laws and procedures on the books to deal with it.

You asked about “candidates” not “officials”. Candidates indeed do NOT work for us.

This is very interesting. How do we know whether a candidate meets the requirements necessary for the office?

NO ONE CHECKS?

Do we raise a few hundred thousand to hire a Private Detective to find out and write a report?

Are these the true wages of democracy?

Candidates do work for the people who elect them.

I believe those people are wrong. We elect them, we pay them out of OUR tax money. They work for us. ANd if they don't work for us, we vote them out.

Not to sound like Hillary Clinton, but who is "us"?

If it's the taxpayer, then YES THEY DO work for "us". Our taxes pay their salaries.

Whoa...

Have you considered contacting Greta or Megyn Kelly, Rush or Levin about this conversation?

That’s an alarming exchange.

Apparently it should be the DNC who Berg should be suing then. I know he's a dem, but someone should do it. It was they who falsly submitted him for the nomination because they either didn't check his credentials or they ignored them.

Apparently, the only body with the legal authority, or "standing" to challenge Obama is the Justice Department, so sayeth Judge Surrick.

since all of the House of representatives are up for reelection, we need to contact as many as possible and convince them that we are of the verge of electing a President who has never been vetted, who is not a natural-born citizen, and who used a fraudulent document image to cover it up.
