A Pennsylvania lawsuit alleging that Barack Obama is not a “natural-born citizen” of the United States took an unusual twist this week, after a federally mandated deadline requiring Obama’s lawyers to produce a “vault” copy of his birth certificate expired with no response from Obama or his lawyers.
The lawsuit, filed by former Pennsylvania Deputy Attorney General Philip J. Berg — a self-avowed supporter of Hillary Clinton — alleges that Barack Obama was born in Kenya and is thus “ineligible” to run for president of the United States. It demands that Obama’s lawyers produce a copy of his original birth certificate to prove that he is a natural-born U.S. citizen.
Berg's suit and allegations have set off a wave of Internet buzz and rumors, though Obama could easily have put the matter to rest by providing the federal court with the basic documentation proving he is eligible to take the oath of a president. But Obama has apparently decided to deny the court and the public that documentation.
The Constitution provides that any U.S. citizen is eligible to become president if the person is 35 years of age or older and is a natural-born citizen; that is, born in the territorial United States.

Maybe this all started as a nuisance lawsuit by a disgruntled Democrat Hillary supporter. But, if all he has to do to make it go away is release his birth certificate, what is Obama’s problem? Is there not a birth cert. or does it say his middle name is Mohammed and Hussein both, or some other embarassing information?
Just wondering where this will go.
When it comes to stuff like this, it’s unfortunate, but we are basically sitting in the cheap seats.
We’ll have to sit back, be patient, and accept that our government moves in mysterious ways, and find a way to dissipate the steam coming out our ears for the next several months.
I think I know where this is headed. Obama is going to deliver a speech along the lines of Dick Nixon’s “checkers” speech on prime time. It won’t matter if he admits that his dad is some commie, or his middle name is Mohammed, or if he says he’s an illegal alien because the MSM will fawn all over him until election day.
What can we do to counter this strategy?
But if Obama can run out the clock and get elected then it won’t matter if it later comes out that he was born in Moscow. He’ll be President and that will be that - the law doesn’t apply to the disinfranchised democrats. We should know that by now.
This is a rare two-birds-with-one-stone kind of opportunity. Kick out barry the illegal alien and SEAL THE BORDERS NOW!

Be nice if it was enough of a nuisance to stop “the One” from being rammed down our throats. I’d like to have 50 lawsuits for him to be answering, at one time, during the campaign.
Just some questions:
If O wins and then we find out he’s not eligible, who gets to be Pres.? McCain, DNC choice, new election?
If O is proven not eligible BEFORE 11/4, could the DNC replace him with Hillary on the ballot? If this could be the case, could this be why McCain camp and/or the RNC is not pressing this issue?
Not only that.
Can it be that he has Indonesian citizenship? He grew up in Indonesia, with an Indonesian adoptive father.
Why does he not release his college / graduate school papers? Can it be that there are essays where he writes “as a moslem growing up in America ...” or “as a foreigner growing up in America ...”?
Not a problem for Mr. Marxist. The American Flag, and the United States Constitution have become almost meaningless.
Even if it were proven that he was born in Tehran and raped babies, America will just shrug its shoulders, and allow him to be sworn in as POTUS.
Maybe BO is going to HOPE we CHANGE the constitution so he can be our Dear Leader.
This is so bizarre - we have the flim flam man about to lead us off a cliff and 1/2 the country doesn’t mind.
You know, I showed this case to my wife, who is an attorney, and her first comment was that this guy makes a lot of allegations but the fact of the matter is that he really doesn’t explain his standing to sue. He doesn’t explain how he has been actually harmed in any way by the Obamanot or any of the other respondents. She doesn’t even think that the Federal courts could have Jurisdiction over a case like this since the federal election is really 50 individual state elections. She seemed to feel that the State courts are the only place you could disqualify him from the ballot for such allegations.
I read a post that suggest he got into Harvard as an immigrant. He can't allow the records to go public.

Not necessarily. First the court challenge has to be addressed. Failing that the Electors that you voted for on Nov 4 have to actually vote for Obama. They are not 'required' to. Then he has to be sworn in by someone authorized to administer an oath. This is usually the Chief Justice but its not required. After that the only way to remove him would be thru impeachment. That of course would not be very likely with a Democrat House or Senate. It will be a Constitutional Crisis in any event.
