FOX News poll, Mac 49, 0 47? WTF?
OK, nevermind, it’s Ohio, sorry.
I remember Kucinich running Cleveland into Bankruptcy.....and the river catching on fire and Perks No Prostitutes policy for cleaning up Cleveland.....
Parma was stupid enough to put Kucinich back in office and they have gotten exactly what they deserve......a Mall that has died out.....local hospital down the drain....a dying community with no opportunity and rising crime....
Most people call that Sh!t in .....sh!t out.....
Lived here all my life and it makes me sick to say all this...... but Ohio Sucks right now and Idiots have been running the state for too long. Blackwell would have been great but it wasn't to be........he was a fan of "Laffer" the economic guy that Reagan liked so much.
Ashtabula is a nice part of the state.......though.
Does anyone have easy access to the polls for this range of time from 2004? Seems to me polls favored Kerry last time as well. Even exit polls favored Kerry as I recall. If anyone has an easy link or can post the information it would be most appreciated, and if it is the way I think it is, it should be broadly disseminated.
The TIPP poll drops it’s big Tuesday number for Obama today...likely will show a tie or McCain leading +1 over Obama.
TIPP was the most accurate poll in 2004, calling it for Bush within 0.4% of actual result.
I would let them know that their Christmas and b-day gifts will be donated to worthy causes in the interests of spreading the wealth around. You can be very pious and serious when you send them a card telling them just who received whatever instead of them. Avoid emotional screeds and simply tell them this is the consequences of socialism.
My one adult child is a Libertarian/3rd party voter who has told us he would vote donk if there wasn’t an L on the ticket. I know how you feel. We are very upfront when he starts in on politics. We have confronted him with facts and get facile retorts in return. My DIL thinks our arguing is rude, but so what? They need to think beyond their ideologies and consider the future of the country. We have kept their gifts at a low average amount and tended towards small, highly practical gifts instead. Long underwear is good for those in Northern climates. Not sure what you could do for those in warmer climes. Maybe a good book on conservative values?
As will two first time voters in my family-my daughter and niece (and they lean quite to the right). My daughter's college roommate is also of like mind.
where did you see that? They have had “the One” ahead by 8 or so!
I actually hven’t sent them a dime or gift in some time. I am so fed up with their attitudes. But then again my 88 year old mother voted for BO, this from a Catholic woman, because McCain is a war monger!
I have a client in Massachusetts who won’t vote for McCain for the same “warmonger” reason. She says he’s “too much like Bush, and I was always afraid Bush would reinstate the draft.” Her youngest son just started college. I didn’t have the heart to tell her that Obama probably will reinstate the draft, or at least try, because, you know, white boys are shirking their military duty and leaving the inner-city kids to do it. And if Obama thinks it, you know it’s true.
