PITTSBURGH -- A 20-year-old woman who was robbed at an ATM in Bloomfield was also maimed by her attacker, police said.
Pittsburgh police spokeswoman Diane Richard tells Channel 4 Action News that the victim was robbed at knifepoint on Wednesday night outside of a Citizens Bank near Liberty Avenue and Pearl Street just before 9 p.m.
Richard said the robber took $60 from the woman, then became angry when he saw a McCain bumper sticker on the victim's car. The attacker then punched and kicked the victim, before using the knife to scratch the letter "B" into her face, Richard said.
Richard said the woman refused medical treatment after the assault, which happened outside the view of the bank's surveillance cameras.
The robber is described as a dark-skinned black man, 6 feet 4 inches tall, 200 pounds with a medium build, short black hair and brown eyes. The man was wearing dark colored jeans, a black undershirt and black shoes.
Apparently there’s a police report.

That could be, but I've heard about a number of similar situations. On Tuesday, a person here in the Kansas City metro area had her house set on fire and her McCain sign stolen. (She'd already had her house vandalized and her sign stolen once.)
I myself have been accosted by aggressive Obama supporters twice.

There was a case back in 2004 of a nutjob who was supposedly a right-wing person (but more likely just insane) named Parlock. He apparently attacked his own family back before the 2004 elections and blamed it on Democrats. People at DU are saying this was a case like this, and that a right-winger did this to her.

I have seen in earlier posts this compared to Hitlers’ brownshirts but I would say a closer comparison would be the vice and virtue goons in Saudi Arabia and Iran.

Two black guys confronted me in the gym because I had an anti-Obama shirt on.

No, Murtha’s district is well to the east of Pittsburgh. This attack was in Pittsburgh itself.
Voted early, as I do every election. I noticed two things that I did not see on previous occasions; a police car in front of the building and a much larger number of black voters than usual. The mood inside the building was subdued and quiet and no eye contact was made between blacks and non-blacks.
The prediction has been made that there will be riots by blacks if Obama should lose. My personal expectation, and I hope that I’m dead wrong, is that there will be acts of intimidation regardless of who wins or loses and that they will take place during the last days of the election when the situation becomes critical. Riots if Obama loses and riots to intimidate McCain voters. (I guess that was the reason for the police car in front of the voting center.)
It behooves all McCain voters to cast their ballots as early as possible. There is no need for them to risk being in a possible violent situation that could occur during the last days of the election.
I leave it up to you to forward this advice to friends and acquaintances.
