Awwww.... thanks!!!! I could tell that he’s had a rough past few days, he sounded a bit down/subdued in our “conversation” online ... but he is counting the days until he gets home, and we had a nice time talking about various home improvement projects. Right now, we’re focusing on his homecoming in November, and our vacation to Hawaii in December.

Greetings all, time for the Friday Flyby. Tonights flyby will be a quickie as I have gone back to work this weekend and am running just a bit behind. Any ways the Flyby pictures this evening are courtesy the fine photographers of the US Air Force. So on with the pics...

An F-35C Lighting II is caught landing at Edwards Air Force Base.

Here we have the Lightning II in Flight.

The F-22 Raptor shows off it's thrust vectoring ability in this photo.

Here a Raptor slides in underneath a KC-135 for a drink.

Look closely that is no ordinary F-4. It's a QF-4 Drone our over the Gulf of Mexico. Kind of a sad enf for a greta aircraft but it's for a good cause in helping to train our pilots.

Well that's all for tonight. With a little bit of luck we will be back tomorrow night with some more pictures. Y'all take care.
