First, a pre-emptive apology for the intentional non-humor to follow. I promise that all future non-humor will be strictly unintentional.
We've all witnessed a lot of insanity in American politics over the last few years. Up until the last few days, none of it has seriously bothered me; hey, just more grist for the satire mill. But after witnessing the media's blitzkreig on Joe 'the Plumber' Wurzelbacher, I can only muster anger, and no small amount of fear...

With today's Powell endorsement, Obama hopes he is one step closer to getting the chance to bring the marxist change he envisions, and as articlated to Joe the Plumber. I pray God we are committed enough, will work hard enough, will maintain faith enough to keep it from happening.
With Powell's endorsement today (an individual I always felt was somehow not aligned with those win the GOP who doted on him), the opposition is throwing in the kitchen sink.
But I maintain if we do those things I mentioned in the 1st paragraph, we can still overcome and win this thing. If not, we soldier on.

That’s pretty cool. I have always admired Rockwell’s work..so real and unpolished.
Rosie’s a little masculine-looking,but I understand why.Art is always open to interpretation, and I think what he was saying, among other things,is that “The best man for the job is a woman”,or perhaps “A woman’s face on what was formerly only a man’s domain”. Rosie resting her feet on a copy of “Mein Kampf” is a nice symbolic touch as well. Another great piece by Rockwell.
I’d like to see something similar for today, like maybe Joe resting his plunger on a copy of “Dreams from my father”.LOL
