Never owned one but this has to be the worst car ever.

Good evening, Connie.

Good evening, all.

Worst car I've ever owned? Well, I've only owned two, really. I got married and got a key to my wife's car, but that wasn't mine.

We had a used 89 Accord for a few years and a new 96 Civic that I still have. The Accord had the affectionate title, "Rolling Death Trap".

Worst ever: 1998 Dodge Neon Sport. Bought it new for my wife. At 9000 miles it dropped a cylinder. At 16000 miles, the automatic transmission failed and needed to be replaced. At that point, I fought with the dealership, got full credit on the car for what the Blue Book value was, and bought a new 1999 Mazda 626 that was a trouble free, fantastic car.

The best car I have ever owned is on the list. Jag X-type.

Funny story....a few years back my brother bought a new Jag. When I asked my lil nephew what kind of Jag his Dad bought he said "Guar". Ok....I thought it was cute!:)

Triumph Spitfire! Something broke on it every day, and parts were EXPENSIVE!!

My family has one of those. They're actually not too bad if someone has a mechanic in the family who can adjust the engine and other stuff to deal with the idiosyncrasies.

They also can make the sharpest U-turns which can be useful.

Unfortunately, it's currently sidelined waiting for parts...

1962 Chevy II

Fairly easy to work on but needed it too much as it liked to bend push rods with my driving style of the time ;^)

I bought it from my Dad for $50 and drove it for a year then sold it back to him for $50. y younger sisters then drove it for another year then Dad sold it to a 20 something for $600. So all in all I guess it was a pretty decent car; for being a Chevy in a Ford family...I don't think that I have been unfortunate enough to have had a really bad car.

Same here, though I don’t remember the year of my particular POS. What a horrible car, but it was all I could afford at the time - mid 80’s.

The door locks froze below 32 degrees and I had to crawl in through the hatch - with a baby

OMGoodness! That should make for some family stories!

Trabants made the AMF Harley's of the 70’s look like green machines (and made some East German and French oil companies very, very rich).AWB

They also belched smoke like a factory from the industrial revolution because of the prblem with burning engine oil. That said, I did see on E-Bay a few months ago. The car was pretty much NOS and was the last model made before reunification.

She is off the reservation today.

She may have a prowl where she spends each day in a different location.

I put food and water out for her.
