Why are we angry

Why are we angry?

We spent years and years hearing how our President murderded innocent Iraqi terrorists. The constant raving chant of "Bush Lied, people died" was giving aid and comfort to our enemy. These people on the left for years stopped short of committing treason. After we started in the Iraq war, it was as if nearly a quarter of our country was fine with crossing that line daily. The hatred of the left was difficult enough to swallow, but the press wallowed in it. They daily shoved our noses in it. Any troop died, and it was celebration for the press. Bush stumbled, and the press played it over and over again. In 2006, we had a crisis brewing and nothing was done about it. The Democrats had stonewalled and forced so many things with their razor-thin minority that obstructed and obstructed over and over again, and we were tired of it. And then, to make it better, along comes two relatively minor incidents with two rather obscure Republicans and suddenly every article, whether the discussion of the policies, procedures and politics, or the incidents themselves or hell, even the discussion of the local bake sale at Aunt Sally's next week in the Metro section was talking about foot-tapping and pages. We saw a disaster in the elections of 2006 precipitated by the press drumming into mainstream America crap that the Nazi Propoganda machine would have been proud of.

We had a gas crisis across the land because the left has done everything they can to prevent even one extra drop of oil from being extracted from American soil. And it crippled our country. And to make it even worse, the Democrats tried to blame it on the Right. The hatred exhibited by the left has driven a wedge between factions in this country that I doubt will ever be fixed. Then along comes John McCain. A man who has been against our President over and over again. We saw the left crossing the line repeatedly to bring about a McCain candidacy. Our candidates were thrown to the trashbin because the leftists interfered with the process. And it irritated us beyond belief. John McCain became the nominee. And then, the empty suit comes along who is the singularly most unqualified candidate we've ever put up by either party and yet, he comes in and lowers the bar of discussion. He comes in and gives speeches about nothing, has people fainting and television talking heads nearly having orgasms at the thought of hearing another of his speeches.

John McCain had to wait for a while until Obama finally solidified his lead over Clinton before he started his campaign. By that point Obama had made so many mistakes that his list was piling up. So, McCain launched one of his first ads that actually got any press. Why? Because it called Obama the empty suit he is. It showed him as a celebrity for celebrity sake. And it had a pointed comparison to two other celebrities. Paris Hilton and Brittney Spears. And immediately it was called a nasty smear racist ad. To those of us who watched from the right, we watched the Obama campaign start playing the race card. They've consistantly and repeatedly done it from the bottom of the deck since.

As we learned more about Obama, we learned that he had bad judgement, was raised by people that most Americans would have avoided like the plague and has had questionable activities since. He's sponsored legislation that has been morally repugnant and unacceptable in any way. And yet, his followers, like brainwashed sheep have denied over and over again the truth of what's come out of their candidate's mouth. Take for instance the ad about teaching sex to Kindergartners. Over and over again, the left has repeatedly claimed that the bill wasn't what it clearly said it was. It wasn't in any way shape or form a way to pervert the parental role. They've had several claims. These have been taken to task and shown to be false over and over again, and yet, they still argue their way into some logical circle that their guy had it right. So, let's look at these claims one by one real quick. 1) This bill was about sexual predators. What could be wrong with that? The bill was not about sexual predators. It was specific. There was a single mention of abuse in the 4th page. In the second half of the paragraph. 2) The bill was optional anyway. Any parent could opt out. So, what's the harm in that? Well if it was opt-in, nobody would go for it. Opt out means they'll catch the kids that don't have parents that pay attention, or can't find the form in the 50 or so other forms that were sent home that day. Opt out means the school teacher could "forget" to tell the parents. There is a lot of room for abuse there. 3) The bill was "age appropriate". How could that be a problem? Well, how do you age appropriately instruct a 5 year old about the transmission of HIV? How do you age appropriately tell a 5 year old about homosexual sex? How do you age appropriately tell a 5 year old about pregnancy in a "medically accurate" manner? These were all requirements of the bill. 4) Barack Obama supported this bill because it was a sexual predator bill. In Barack Obama's own words (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1zQryISazAc) he says about teaching sex education to kindergartners, "but..but it was the right thing to do." So, you toss out the words of their fearless leader and they immediately accuse you of being a bigoted racist. I've had it happen to me. If anything breaks through the shell of the chosen one, Barack Obama, it's immediately bigotry and racism.

Since, we have been treated to a barrage of accusations about us, the right about how we're out to destroy Obama because he's black, or we have some hidden agenda that secretly he's a muslim (as if that's some sort of bad thing), and no matter how many times it's pointed out that we have no problem with his skin or his name, but his judgement, his decisions, his policies and his associations, over and over again, we're painted as racists. The fuse has been lit, and Barack Obama and his surrogates keep fanning the flames. They're pushing the divide so hard, of course we're going to react. And vicerally. It's impossible to be beaten over and over again by the left with lies and smears and accusations and not snap back. My biggest fear is that the Obama candidacy is going to irrevocably destroy our country. That which man breaks Gods struggle to make whole again.

I’d consider being angry if someone could convince me that being angry is helpful in some way.

You should have kept reading. The very next sentence completed his point(I don’t know how to make italics on this forum):

“These people on the left for years stopped short of committing treason. After we started in the Iraq war, it was as if nearly a quarter of our country was fine with crossing that line daily.”

See what happens when you pay attention?

I’m not angry. I knew what the democrats and McCain were before we ever got to this point. I’m trying to have fun regardless.

I was thinking of an evil republican congressman contest. For instance my congressman wants to murder cancer patients for refusing to “allow” taxpayers to fund stem cell research. (according to his democrat opponent)

I’m having fun. I’ll be working the polls for my State Representative and state judges starting next week. When the weather is nice, I bring all my kids out and we meet the neighbors and shoot the breeze with the firefighters.

Sounds like the challenger in your district is a typical Democrat, just like my State Rep’s challenger.

I’m more angry with a Republican administration that turned a blind eye to the treason that has been committed over the past 8 years...not even mentioning it, much less prosecuting it!

I will vote for a little righteous anger, it drives people to action. Rage, that would be the Marxists, leads to destruction and chaos (wish Rush hadn’t used that word). Sen. McCain should show us the fruits of a little righteous anger.

The economy has cyclic ups and downs and this current one is historic and viscious, but we will recover from this one too.

During Bush Sr’s administration, he went from high approval ratings to tanking late in his presidency due to a market downturn. It actually started to turn around, but not soon enough for him to be reelected and Clinton, who won due to Perot, came into office just as the economy rebounded. Something he got the undeserved credit for.

Next came the tech boom and peace dividends, niether of which he had anything to do with, but all we hear of is the Clinton prosperity years and the sheep[le swallow this crap.

When Clinton left office, GWB was left with a recession and a tech boom bust he had nothing to do with, but be assured that over time, he got the discredit. Clinton also left a huge stink bomb that was the genesis of our current meltdown, but the press would have you believe it’s all due to 8 years of Bush.

So Bush was left with huge economic issues, then 911, the war in Afganistan, Iraq and to top it off.......Katrina.

But what really pisses me off is that we will recover from this current crisis and Obama, if elected, will get the credit.

"See what happens when you pay attention?"

He skimmed over it by simply saying "...it was as if nearly a quarter of our country was fine with crossing that line daily.”

AS IF? There was no IF about it. It happened. They did it, and they were fine with it. He most definitely should include examples of those that DID commit treason over and over, like the NY Times, and give examples of how they did so.

See what happens when you achieve reading comprehension?

How to bring down the United States and replace Democracy with Socialism.

Step 1 - Create systemic situations whereby the US Government will be forced to act in an unpopular manner for its very survival, i.e. war and/or economic turmoil through agitation of the enemies and control of the flow of taxpayer currency.

Step 2 - Take advantage of the fact that you have dumbed down the masses through support of public education unions and slowly control and destroy the manufacturing base via employee unions. Easily convince the ignorant followers now governed by emotion, not logic, that the Gov’t action was wrong and dangerous via propaganda distributed by vehicles now owned by ideologues, not journalists.

Step 3 - Time and control these circumstances to coincide with a national election. Begin to undermine the US Capitalist system by flooding the work market with illegal labor that does not return tax dollars to the Government of the country they are invading. Turn your back on the people's will to export the invaders.

Step 4 - Implant a socialist candidate who will automatically receive votes from the uneducated simply by his skin color, which will control the margin of undecideds. Other “unables” will support the candidacy hoping for socialistic control of free market economics and expanded wealth redistribution.

Step 5 - Control voter fraud in a social program developed under the veil of registering to vote those publicly educated “unables” who don't have the mental acuity to register themselves.

Step 5 - Revel in the impeccable timing of circumstances to expand Socialism in the world's most successful Democracy. Control the banks, the currency, the flow of money into the avenues of ideological programs by destroying the ignorant peoples’ control of their own money via exploitation of the mortgage industry.

Step 6 - Sit back and watch the decent of the most successful Democracy that world history will ever witness. Still imperfect, but what once was may never be again. Pocket wads of money for yourself and friends while keeping the masses under the megalomaniacal thumbs of a few.

I agree, it’s a great letter. I am mad at the lawyers and their advocates, the Mainstream Media. I am mad at the teachers unions, and finally, the party that represents all 3, the Democrats.

The nonsensical antics of the left were annoying and a little amusing until now. I just received in the mail my monthly IRA statement. It is down 23% even before the big crash! My home is worth less that what I paid for it. I feel like I’ve been “had.” Because we all have been had, bad.

It is not unusual to be angry and want to slash out. It looks to me that greed is the culprit. Lending institutions, being pressured to give toxic, subprime loans to credit unworthy borrowers is a factor in the creating the financial mess in which we find ourselves. The greedy loan institutions were able to get away with this because Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac took them off the hook, so all could enrich themselves. Demand for housing went up, as did the cost of housing as demand outstripped supply with this new initiative in play. Mr. & Mrs. Jones on Main Street were caught up in this false economy and paid $389,000 for a home now worth $229,000. That money is lost. The trillions of securities are gone, too, for all of us. Evaporated. My IRA securities will not regain value for a long, long, time.

I am a little peeved because I realize that we have been taken to the cleaners by the Democrats, who now stand to gain by the economic woes that they created with their stealth implementation of socialism. The Democrats sabotaged our economy and now will take it over because the Republicans get the blame. Anger and frustration are the feelings of the day, as we helplessly watch our country slip away to Marxism, socialism, and thuggery. We are on the brink of having been done in by evil idolatry, and a passive clueless administration, IMO.

It might be a good idea to have all of those who educate others (teachers) sign a loyalty oath. Considering that most of this liberal nonsense is taught to the uneducated in American schools. Most college graduates live is a different world, if you doubt it talk to a few. Talk about treason at it's source.
