First off, she didn’t subject herself or her family to this, the drivebys all by themselves took this to a whole new, and I must say unprecedented, level.
Secondly, in 2012 as a sitting VP, she will be in the perfect spot to become the first woman POTUS.

if she has half a brain she will never subject herself or family to this bs again.

she won't have to... there is no way she'll be in the running in 2012 if she and McCain lose this election... i keep saying this, and i'm sure it's making people mad... but i just don't see her coming back... even if she wanted to...

It’s certainly close enough to stop by. It’s not like she’s wasting her time.

yes... i agree... however, the key here is, "sitting VP." she and McCain must win this election if she is to have a future in national politics... so let's get them to win! we can't waste her on this one campaign...

Clueless is having a GIFT from a crowd encouraging you to get angry and fight like you want to win....and saying you are afraid of your child growing up under an Obama administration...Clueless is saying “I want to assure you he is a decent family man and you have nothing to be afraid of...”

Decent is not hanging out for 20 years listening to your pastor who you’ve called family ranting and raving with so much hate towards America...that isn’t decent....McCain is running a clueless campaign....

If a Republican is going to win you have to get down in the dirt and fight like it’s the only option available (winning that is the only option)...Bush did this to McCain...who won? McCain did this with Romney...who won? Nixon did this with McGovern.... The nice guys...finish last...that is what is so clueless....

I didn’t say WV was going to him...I said “IF it was in doubt” the election is over.

“But, why is she starting the day in West Virginia ?”

For the same reason she started today in “Murthaville” (aka Johnstown, PA) :) I mean, why bother here in what is *supposedly* a “guaranteed” Dem stronghold. ;)

And while Mr. Ranger and I couldn’t attend (terminal illness in the family) she packed the local War Memorial Arena with her usual SRO and beyond crowd. Mr. Ranger did see her motorcade pass by on 219N (aka the world’s least used 4-lane :) as he was headed in to the hospital.

You think it won’t be “remembered” that *she* could bother to show up in these areas, while the big O *obviously* can’t be bothered? ;)

My 80+ mil is in a convalescent home, healing a broken leg, yet her biggest concern is being well enough to go cast her vote. We promised that even if we have to wheel her in, she’ll get to cast her vote, because, as she said, “It matters”. :)

Huntington is just across the river from Ohio. There’s a VA hospital located there, so it could be an intended campaign stop for that reason alone.

These towns are in the rural SE part of OH where Obama HAS to win to have a chance. I think this area is fertile ground for Republicans. In other words, I think the McCain camp is stamping out the last hope for Obama in OH.

Perhaps she needs to go to church. Has she gone since the announcement. Even though I was a candidate, I would still insist I go to church on Sundays. Although I am Catholic and it is seriously fround if you miss. I don’t know if it mandatory for her to go or not.

She had to have known that the media would get involved in her life and find every negative thing they could. She is very smart and knew what she was getting into. Please, don't make it see like she was naive and thought she was getting a free ride. That is impossible in today's politics.

You might want to add many small counties in SE Ohio voted heavily for Strickland and other Democratic state candidates in 2006, plus local politics lean to rat control. Given a chronically poor economy in the region, SE Ohio is not a sure thing for McCain, at least in the numbers needed to offset metro Ohio support for Obama.

True, but Strickland is white, pro-gun and nowhere near as wacky left as Hussein Obama.

Even I think that overall, Strickland hasn't been nearly as bad as Taft and Voinovich were.

This is a bogus poll, believe me. It is complete crap. I live in West Virginia and West Virginia went almost ENTIRELY to Hillary in the Dem primary county by county. There were some southern West Virginia counties that went 88 to 8 or 89 to 10 percent in Hillary’s favor. Not exactly fertile territory for Obama. West Virginia has more registered Democrats than Republicans but the state has a huge conservative evangelical base that, if they come out on Election Day, won’t vote for Barry. There is also a very small black population statewide.

Of course she knew what she was getting into, but even you must admit that this is unprecedented.
Have you ever seen this level of bile and unsubstantiated innuendo thrown at any candidate for any office before? I have not, and it makes me sick that more decent Americans aren’t standing up and saying enough of this crap.
Let’s just see what the final (acorn excluded) poll has to say on 4 Nov.
