Heck I’m hearing some Obama ads in Illinois.. Granted it could geared to Indiana since it is in Chicago..

If the stock market continues to dive there is no telling how people will vote out of blind anger. It isn’t rational to put Obama in, but people don’t act rationally in an environment like this.

Of course, we have the chance for a big rally back up as well.

Economic news is battering McCain. He was hoping for old voters. Old voters just got their incomes battered by the stock market crash. They are pissed and the incumbent party suffers.

Ironic because this is mainly the democrat’s fault but the NYtimes and other MSM cronies blame deregulation.

We still have a month to go though, I doubt any of the numbers are going to stabilize soon.

It’s doubtful that they are purposely in the tank for 0bama. They very well could be wrong, but the reason for the inaccuracy is likely not because of a pro-0bama bias.

The Rasmussen polls released today showing McCain gaining ground in every state but MI? LOL>

Seems people are fairly selective in which polls they choose to believe - both from the positive and negative viewpoint.

Because every poll that shows McCain behind is bogus. Don’t you know that? The flavor of the week is Zogby. When he starts showing McCain losing more, we’ll have to find a new best buddy in the polling world.

I see Dem houses with Dem Congressman signs but no Obama signs.

Kind of strange isn't it? I see some dim signs for local people but no Blowbama signs but some McCain/Palin signs. I remember seeing many more signs for Lurch last time.

“Granted it could geared to Indiana since it is in Chicago..”

Uh yeah that probably explains it. I don’t think Obama is too worried about IL.

Just MHO and a few thoughts here:

-The Florida numbers look off to me. I don’t believe any one poll anymore, but a number of polls have Fla. as very close right now. I really think McCain will take it come Election Day.

-Pennsylvania...ouch. The numbers here are in line with other polls, and also consistent with several days of polling. It will probably tighten by Nov. 4th, and I don’t think the state’s a lost cause just yet, but the odds of a McCain win in Pa. look a lot longer than they did just a few weeks ago.

-Ohio: I’d bet my last dollar Ohio ends up in McCain’s column in the end. That’s even with the machinations of ACORN and the crooked Ohio Secretary or State.

-All of the above is still in our hands as voters. Turn out to vote and get others to make the trip. Nothing is written in stone just yet. /soapbox.

WELL, while the RATS are celebrating, having their orgies, drinking bottles of champagne, toasting the victory of their Anointed ONE right now. But, we the people of the Lord will humble ourselves before our GOD and seek after him on our knees crying unto him for mercy, mercy for our country, for the sake of our children and grandchildren. NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GOD, DON'T YOU EVER FORGET THAT!! He will repay! Let's see who has the last laugh!!

Yep according to the media polls the White people who voted for Hillary Clinton in Pennsylvania, she won 65% of the White vote, and many of them because Obama is black racist now suddenly are voting by large numbers for Reverend Wright apprentice.

These polls are insanely biased. Look around and you know that these polls are not in touch with what is happening on the ground. Talk to White democrats and tell me what is the percentage of them who are going to vote for Obama. Do your own poll. Make them feel relaxed and let them tell you what they think about Obama.

If Obama is really 12 points ahead in Pennsylvania then McCain and Palin will not be campaigning there because no one can turn around such a huge margin three weeks before the elections.

Hello,

Here in SW St. Louis County, I live near a Union Hall. As of 2 days ago, the Hall had in front of it huge banners for all the state and local Dems.

No “The O and Biden” sign. None. I'll check tomorrow and let FR know if that has changed.

I found it very strange.

Well I guess I should just stay home on Nov. 4 since the pollsters have already told me that Obama is going to win all 50 states.

Why do not you down your won poll tatown? Let me give you some tips. Poll white democrats and do not poll anyone else. Make them feel relaxed during the conversation and let them really express what do they feel about Obama. If you find out that 2 out 10 is not going to vote for him then Obama is finished. Trust me, you will be shocked.

Those polls also showed him losing in North Carolina and Florida, neither being a favorable outcome.

Its amazing how some people seem to miss the forest for the tress.

jveritas, I hope you are right.

The thing that should concern us about these polls is that Strategic Vision is a very right-leaning polling company that has a very good reputation. They are NOT in the tank for Obama. Now that is not to say that their poll is right, but as I said before the reason that that might be wrong is not what some keep chanting here that ‘all polling companies are pro-Obama’.

If there are so many people furious at Sen. Obama, it sure would be nice if they told the pollsters.

Look, there is no doubt we are losing now. But the key word is now. Here in Virginia, BO has absolutely owned the airwaves, same in Florida, NC, and to a lesser extent in Ohio. My hope is that McCain/RNC money starts to counter this ASAP. 26 days can be a lifetime in politics, McCain needs some breaks but can still win. He needs a great debate (this week’s was awful) and then he needs to attack for the last 3 weeks. It’s going to close, the question is whether it will be enough. I am doubtful, but pray I’m wrong.

SV is a solid polling firm - People can either deal with it, work harder (accept that the RNC / McCain camps are pathetic and seem to have no ability to set a premise....Especially when the current financial situations are tied directly (directly) to the DEM congress and Obama).....

People can wish away these poll numbers all the want. This isn't CBS, Zog, or AP/ISOS....... This is SV. A solid R polling firm.

PA looks gone. It was always a long shot. It hasn't went GOP in over 20 years and has recently went DEM on Senate and Gov level (state wide elections).
