Quinn & Rose this morning announced that US Attorney Peter Fitzgerald (yes, THAT Peter Fitzgerald) is bringing a RICO case against ACORN. Accusations involve mass voter fraud and allegations brought by the Clinton Campaign against them as well.
Is that it? Fitzgerald was specifically investigating ACORN Illinois and now going national? Then almost certainly Rezko must have sung.
Obama is a leftist golem. Ayers has been molding and shaping and guiding him since his Columbia University days a quarter-century ago.

I was seriesly stuned to see this reported on CNN. I was just flipping through the channels since I don’t watch CNN usually.
The rumors of this investigation might be what’s propelling a tiny bit of contructive journalism by CNN and ther NYT even mentioning the name of William Ayers
If Patrick Ftzgerald, and the FBI, save this country from a coup- it is the story of the millenium. And possibly another behind-the-scenes courageous move by the much maligned George Bush.
I have had the very unsettling feeling “something” or “someone” declared war on us and a behind the scenes crisis was growing and no one was going to DO anything.
It may be premature to feel relief.

I don’t believe that’s true. All the Constitution specifies is that there is to be ONE voting day, all throughout the United States and that day is to be specified by Congress.
So, it can be changed to whatever they want, but Congress would have to do it.
If Acorn is actually taken down at the national level and closed down in all 50 states, the Republicans will gain 40-50 seats in the House and regain the Senate. Acorn is in every state, usually under another name.
Here in NY, they’re called the Working Families Party. Without them, Hillary never would have been elected, nor would many house seats here in 2006 and all over the state prior to that. Maybe even some in urban areas.
Acorn is more pervasive than you could possibly imagine and if they are disrupted, even if it isn’t tied to Obama, Democrats will be unable to win in many places that are considered reliably Democrat.
If what you are saying is true, this COULD be a scorched-earth attack from the Clinton wing of the Democrat Party.
