Sen. Barack Obama says the personal attacks levied against him by the campaign of his presidential rival, Sen. John McCain, particularly references to his association with 1960s anti-war radical Bill Ayers, are an attempt to "score cheap political points."
"I am surprised that, you know, we've been seeing some pretty over-the-top attacks coming out of the McCain campaign over the last several days, that he wasn't willing to say it to my face. But I guess we've got one last debate. So presumably, if he ends up feeling that he needs to, he will raise it during the debate."

- Both are America-haters
- Both have attacked the US
- Both have sworn to try to undermine the government as we know it
- Both are terrorists who've expressed remorse for not having done more damage in their terrorist attacks
So, is the important difference the number of bodies left dead by the two terrorists involved? Is Bin Laden a worse terrorist because he's been more successful in generating followers and in attacking and damaging his enemy?
If Bill Ayers were as smart as Osama Bin Laden, would he be every bit as productive as a terrorist? Is it only the fact that Ayers is an underachieving liberal moron that keeps his name from being tied in the same sentences of condemnation as Osama Bin Laden?
How many dead Americans does it take to become a truly evil terrorist...10? 100? 1,000?
If Obama is the “Anti Christ” then he WILL win the election!
I don’t think it’s a trap for McCain. It’s out there, it’s being discussed. McCain doesn’t have to say anything at all to his face; Meanwhile D’oh-bama comes off sounding like a schoolyard bully that talks tough with the big brother MSM standing over his shoulder. D’oh-bama is on defense now.
Besides, McCain knew the last debate was nothing of the sort. It was a carefully crafted, stage-managed D’oh-bama prop. No damaging questions, no troubling stuff at all for The None. McCain would have made it worse for himself if he’d tried any funny business that wasn’t pre-approved by the “moderator.”
Take it out back guys....
I would love to see McCain show up at the next debate with documents...evidence...and then blast his ass back to the ghettos of Chicago. Oops, I said ghetto. I guess that means I’m racist. Oh how I would love to see Obama indicted for something!
When Urkel attacks!

There is the PERFECT INVITATION for McCain to do exactly what Obama says....ask him about his associations face to face at the next debate! McCain should ask Obama when he found out about Ayers’ past. Did he know of it when he worked with Ayers on the Chicago Annenberg Challenge? Did he know about it when he attended a fundraiser in Ayers’ home? Then McCain needs to be ready to say he wonders about other associations of Obama and name names!
You have been called out John McCain, bambi wants to fight you after school. I say go for it, we will be there cheering you on and pounding any bambi supporters trying to team up on you. Bambi is a wailing sissy, even a camp fire girl could take him, and you could put an end to his and ours misery. Do it!
My wife, to be kind, is not all that politically astute. She watched the debate last night and mentioned to me that she thought that Senator Obama was acting like a little kid while off camera, that is, while Senator McCain was speaking.
Now this say it to my face thing pops into the news. Perhaps Senator McCain should reply: Meet you behind the Capital Building at 3 PM and well duke it out.
What an immature wanta be this empty suit Senator Obama is.
OK, what's up?
Every good strategist knows that in situations like this you address it and move on. You DON'T keep bringing it up yourself.
Nobama has to know that by him acting like this he is only going to KEEP the attention on this subject and away from what he wants to talk about!
Not that I mind but it just seems a bit strange.
And doesn't one of the four advise Obama? (Glenn)

I agree. O coming out like this has scored points. Made M look like a weak kid. M set himself up for this one by not saying it to his face from the beginning to establish superiority from the start. M's debate style of Mr. Nice Guy has backfired and now has taken the "No-more Mr. Nice Guy" out of the arsenal.
Can't say we, and talk radio, didn't warn him.
Think Rush had it right when he called M "Yosemite Sam".
To be blunt, I’m not politically astute either, but I have learned so much during this election season, and am getting smarter about it all of the time. I always took politics for granted. Now I don’t.

Now that is some seriously funny stuff. An arugula lovin’, community organizing metrosexual calling out the Vietnam war vet and POW. Heck, our VP candidate would put a real beatdown on the O.
"But I guess weve got one last debate. So presumably, if he ends up feeling that he needs to, he will raise it during the debate.
I sense a trap for McCain!
