While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.

Hint. If you are quoting someone and don’t know how to do HTML to change it to italics just put some quote marks at the beginning and the end. “Like this” otherwise it appears you are saying the whole thing and not quoting someone.

Wow. CNN’s Soladad just asked her focus group who they would vote for right now. 14 said McCain. 11 said Obama. They can't believe it after all the dial testing said they liked what Obama said more. And they said they trusted Obama more on the economy.

McCain has made a strategic decision that the base is so terrified of BO, and the economic fundamentals so awful for the GOP, that he is going after independents and Clinton Democrats. I hope to Hell they know what they are doing, or we will have a down ballot disaster.

I dont know what the strategy is. I hope there is a really big October surprise, and McCain is just running down the clock until it breaks.

No, if they all walk away the housing market will correct quicker, people who have been more prudent will find bargains, and we can get on with rebuilding the economy.
