While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.

On one hand Obama says it is bad judgement to go into Iraq...on the other hand, he says we have a "moral" orbligation to go into Rhawanda.

They don't. All they know is that GWB is the President during the current economic crisis, and that McCain belongs to GWB's party. That's pretty much the extent of their knowledge, and the main reason McCain has an uphill battle.

They don't know about the origins of the crisis in the Community Reinvestment Act, or about the Dems' longstanding refusal to hold GSE's Fannie/Freddie to account (because they're a Dem cash cow), or about Obama's fellow "community organizers" at ACORN threatening lenders/banks with lawsuits if they didn't make risky loans.

Not only don't they know, but most of them don't want to know.

He also said something about how we would have responded effectively to the Holocaust if we had the chance. Gee, I thought our response was quite effective...??

McCain is nailing him on Iraq. He should have mentioned that genocide was ocurring in Iraq. That would have shut up Obama’s wimpy argument on genocide.
