While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.
Obama just got his say on taxes.
WooHoo!
Look at records
No middle income tax cuts in Il
Brokaw is actually doing a good job!
that’s not the point....he simply ain’t up to it
Obama’s bullshitting talents are more than McCain can handle
this is it...right now...50 million watching
go after him on everything....nail him
Mac is frigging wobbly...Obama lies like a rug and Brokaw is there to back him up
and the stupids in the audience don’t know any better
This single working Mom could really use that $7,000 tax deduction and I like the fact that I could spend money for my medical care the way I want to. Go Johnnie!
McCain is such a better man for the job. Dear God let the people see.
sw
Is it just me?
The practice of saying “My friends” over and over is simply disturbing and annoying.
McCain has been in over his head at least since his days at Annapolis.
The sad thing is this:
The rest of the world are laughing at both of these characters. They probably think the schedule got mess up and this is Saturday Night Live.
Wup ‘em McCain!
Get your finger out of the wall socket.
Hey, I’m a LONG time Freeper and McCain supporter.
But, he SUCKS!! tonight.
Obama is creaming him. Election is O-V-E-R if he can’t pick it up, RELAX and start being more specific and start espousing (gasp!) actual REPUBLICAN values and go on the attack against the bad guys.
The “let’s buy up people’s mortgages” comment absolutely lost it for him. This if freaking SOCIALISM for God’s sake!!!
Oh, and thank God we’re not doing the drinking game over here, as all the “My Friends” and “Reach across the Aisle in a bi-partisan manner” lines would have us blotto’d out of our minds about 3 minutes into this travesty.
Seriously, I'm not watching---I'm reading the thread (only 100 posts behind now)---but it's funny to see the trolls and to see the regular posters who think that, until now, McCain was just treading water.
McCain says that “our best days are ahead of us.”
PLANTS!!!!
he was just reminding them of something...i think he is doing good. Of cours,e I have my sound off.
Heck they do THAT on the entitlements programs, too. They need to go through and clean house and make sure that those on the rolls really belong there.
McCain kicking ass on taxes !
“Our best days are ahead of us..”
No one could have written a more innovative catch phrase.”
Fact is the Democrats did this starting under Clinton, no massive response by Bush, McCain or Republicans.
