That is the central theme for most rap "music" these days.
The problem is the difference in the way Americans and Muslim cultures view religion and how they define who is and who isn’t a Muslim. In western countries, we make individual decisions about religion. Muslim countries do not allow for that. You inherit the religion of your father. Period. Individual decisions apart from that is not valid and is not recognized. Therefore, Obama is seen as a Muslim by Muslims.
The problem, at least as I see it, is not whether Obama is a Muslim or Christian by American standards. He says he is a Christian and I accept that. (Yes, I know that there could be debates about his beliefs or lack of them, but that’s another story.) But I see it as a potentially real problem that Muslims see Obama as one of their own, given their beliefs about apostates and Obama’s lack of character and willingness to be all things to all people. That’s where the problem lies.
A DOZEN REASONS TO VOTE AGAINST BARACK OBAMA
1. He and a Democrat-controlled Congress will increase tax rates – income, capital gains, inheritance and corporate.
2. He has said that he plans to significantly reduce the size and effectiveness of our military – this amidst world-wide Islamo-fascist terrorist attacks, the Iraqi and Afghan campaigns and a growing nuclear threat from Iran.
3. He has a long-time, ongoing friendly relationship with William Ayers, a self-proclaimed 1960’s Weather Underground domestic terrorist who bombed government buildings and recently said that he wished he had done more.
4. Barack Obama is a left-wing extremist trying hard to conceal the fact. The National Journal ranks him the #1 most liberal of all 100 U.S. Senators. His association with and support from terrorist William Ayers, racist preacher (for over 20 years) Jeremiah Wright, voter registration fraud-committing group A.C.O.R.N. and his Marxist Chicago mentor Saul Alinsky all indicate his radical socialist alignment.
5. He wants to end global poverty by sending our money to third-world dictators. . . a socialist pipe dream sure to result in more French Riviera mansions.
6. Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez, Cuban dictator Raul Castro and the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas all openly endorse Obama for President.
7. The Obama campaign is actively engaged in suppression of First Amendment guaranteed political free speech by threatening prosecution of groups running truthful but anti-Obama ads – this flyer might qualify.
8. Obama clearly stated that his white grandmother had certain negative reactions to black men because she was a “typical white woman” who reacted this way because it was “bred into her” – this is a racist statement.
9. At the age of 47 he has published two fictionalized autobiographies, but he hasn’t done or achieved much of anything. What kind of arrogant, egotistical nonsense is that?
10. He recently said that he had campaigned in fifty-seven states, but his people hadn’t let him go to Alaska or Hawaii.
Barack Hussein Obama repeatedly states that he has always been a Christian, but Indonesian school records and a schoolmate indicate that he occasionally attended mosque with his step-father and was at that time a Muslim. In an interview with George Stephanopoulos, Obama stated that Senator
McCain “ had not made an issue of his Muslim faith”.
12. Obama is one of the least experienced and qualified major-party candidates ever to run for President. . . . . only three years in the U.S. Senate with a minimal attendance and voting record, no executive experience, no business experience, no diplomatic experience and no military experience.

"Told them he was a muslim"? I think it is more likely that he behaved as a good muslim would and they saw him as muslim through his actions not his words.

I also understand his kids don’t get Christmas presents.

About 10 years ago when I lived in Toronto my wife tried to enroll our son in kindergarten at a Catholic school just around the corner from our house, but considering we weren’t Catholic - they denied my son entry. When my wife came home and told me we couldn’t send him there - I said I was born Catholic and they can’t deny him! I spent over an hour looking for my old baptism certificate which I used to need to sign up for church league hockey when I was much younger.......unbelievably I found it much to my wife’s surprise! It was in bad shape, but still PROOF that I was born a Catholic which was all my son needed and the school needed to allow my son to attend their school.
My point in all this is obvious. Although I attended a Protestant church later in life I was born Catholic which made my son a Catholic in their eyes. If Obama’s father was Muslim - how can he say he’s not Muslim himself? We all know he let that slip in an interview on TV (My Muslim faith”). I still find it extraordinary that only 7 years after 911 - Americans would vote for a Muslim President. Barack is Muslim and if not with a middle name like “Hussein” then consider me a doubting Thomas!
