Why is it ok, or understandable to some, to have rioting after an event such as the Rodney King verdict, where some black felt our justice system failed?
Why was there no rioting by white folks after the OJ verdict, in which many similarly felt that our justice system failed?

There are tons of stories out there like this and those that say the ONLY reason one would not vote for Obama is racism.
I was in NYC this weekend and there were these painted trucks parked on the streets that said “Imagine loving your President...Vote Obama”.
True...sorta. But in lumping them all together, as the press is bound to do, the press elevates the scum that commits these crimes in plain view up to and above the level of the quiet people in those same places who respect the law and end up being the real victims. The people who tell the rioters to stop are ignored, while the thugs who are filmed throwing cinderblocks at people and property and made into heroes one to two months later.

Kinda like the OJ trial, back in the mid-90’s, when a MURDERER was found “NOT GUILTY”, and there were shots of black folks dancing in the streets and hootin’ and hollerin’ and praisin’ Jesus, in churches... What a wonderful site that really helped racial relations, in this country!

I would like to point out that the L.A. riots (a la Rodney King) indeed began in Long Beach, where this fine, young construction worker was interviewed. I remember it like yesterday, because I attended a landscaping show at the Long Beach Convention Center that very day, and we left early to high-tail it back to San Diego. What a coincidence!
Oh, I'm stocking up on pizza stuff too. I wonder if they make pizza MREs.
If he loses, I'm out in the sticks, but with an Ann Arbor mailing address, I'm more about concerned about the white trust fund babies rioting than I am about the blacks in Willow Run going after me when the rich folk are in nearby Canton or Ann Arbor itself. I'll be carrying my .357 that day just to be safe, and at home I have a 12 gauge and a few other defense mechanisms.
