LEE COUNTY: Lee County Sheriff Mike Scott is standing by some controversial comments he made at Governor Sarah Palin's rally on Monday - comments already gaining national attention.
While speaking on stage, Scott referred to the Democratic presidential candidate by his full name, Barack Hussein Obama.
Those comments didn't go over well with the McCain Campaign, but Scott says he meant no harm by his remarks.

Wright called him by his middle name. Big deal.
In fact, that’s the response. ‘Hey, what’s the problem? Barack’s pastor called him by that name?’
It’s time to stop pussyfooting around with that fraud.
That's one of the issues of the pending lawsuit to determine his qualifications for POTUS.
I suspect John Sydney McCain didn't mind the Sheriff calling B-HO by his real, full name one bit.
At the rate things are going it'll soon be "controversial" to call B-HO anything other than "The Honorable Mr. President."
Just wait til someone describes him as Barack Hussein Mohammed Obama.......
There’s a video of Wright saying “Obama” over and over again. He was ramming it down whitey’s throat.

Big meals and fancy cars.
He says we must all get by with less
He thinks third world is our fate
Barack Hussein Obama
Stop him fore its too late.
Too late for that. It's so far up it will never come out. McCain's giving himself a visual colonoscopy.
That gif should be the Obama campaigns logo.
I really wish I could remember which FReeper said to call him Barack Seinfeld Obama: A candidate about nothing.
0bama himself, on the Tavis Smiley show, touted his middle name Oct 2007.
He said Muslims in the Middle East would trust him more because of his name.
Now, in this campaign, we cannot question 0bama’s past associations, nor can his full name be uttered out loud.
Are we going to have to bow our heads whenever The Messiah is in out presence?
If you say so. It won’t load properly. Joe Average didn’t watch it because he was at work trying to make a dollar to feed his family. At best, Joe and JoAnn Average will be able to take a few moments away from their family to watch the next debate or catch a few minutes of local news so until then it won’t matter what McCain says at 3 pm on CSPAN in some other state.

Obama Wins Nomination; Biden and Bill Clinton Rally Party
By ADAM NAGOURNEY
DENVER Barack Hussein Obama, a freshman senator who defeated the first family of Democratic Party politics with a call for a fundamentally new course in politics, was nominated by his party on Wednesday to be the 44th president of the United States.
The Jig is up! ;-)
Wow! BHO has such thin skin! So if (God forbid) he is our next president, our enemies will just yell “Hussein” and BHO will end up in the fetal position!?
I’m just sayin’, this is a bit like the pot calling the kettle African-American.
It’s just like the word nigger. If you are a brother from the hood, it’s OK. If you are whitey, it’s a hate crime.
Maybe we should use his other middle name and call him Baraq mohammed 0bama?
