Obama campaign rejects Palin 'terrorist' jibe
CNN ^ | 10/5/2008

Posted on 10/05/2008 7:00:46 AM PDT by markomalley

Barack Obama's campaign has quickly rejected Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's claim that he associated "with terrorists who targeted our own country."

Palin attacked Sen. Obama on Saturday for his brief political relationship with Bill Ayers, a founding member of the radical Weather Underground which was involved in several bombings in the early 1970s, including the Pentagon and the Capitol. Obama was eight years old at the time of bombings.

Obama and Ayers, now a university professor, have met several times since 1995, when both worked with a non-profit group trying to raise funds for a school improvement project and a charitable foundation. CNN's review of project records found nothing to suggest anything inappropriate in the volunteer projects in which the two men were involved.

Obama campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt said the two had not spoken by phone or exchanged e-mail messages since Obama came to the U.S. Senate in 2005 and last met more than a year ago when they encountered each other on the street in a Chicago neighborhood where both live.

BOTH OBAMA AND OSAMA HAVE
FRIENDS WHO BOMBED THE PENTAGON

I didn't come up with this, but I love it! I wonder if there actually is such a bumper sticker on the market? If not, there needs to be! Of course we can create one ourselves. It would also make an excellent banner to hang from highway overpasses. Also huge billboards.

“nothing inappropriate”?

I guess spending one hundred million dollars for “education” and having two independent boards find that not one cent was spent for the educational betterment of Chicago's students is perfectly appropriate to CNN.

This is 0bama’s legacy. One hundred million spent, and not one cent benefited its intended recipients.

Change? You betcha...

From Rules for Radicals, Alinsky outlines his strategy in organizing, writing:

"There's another reason for working inside the system. Dostoevsky said that taking a new step is what people fear most. Any revolutionary change must be preceded by a passive, affirmative, non-challenging attitude toward change among the mass of our people. They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and change the future. This acceptance is the reformation essential to any revolution."[2]

ABC radio covered for Obama/Ayers making the laughable claim that Ayers renounced his terrorist past.

They’re actively lying for him now.

ABC radio covered for Obama/Ayers making the laughable claim that Ayers renounced his terrorist past.

Even IF he did (he didn't), the guy is still calling for a communist overthrow of the U.S. government.

Bill Ayers TODAY (April 6, 2008), from his own red communist star-headed website, begging to debate communism vs capitalism with Sean Hannity and STILL calling for revolution!

"Imperialism. I’m against it, and if Sean Hannity and others were honest, this is the ground they would fight me on. Capitalism played its role historically and is exhausted as a force for progress: built on exploitation, theft, conquest, war, and racism, capitalism and imperialism must be defeated and a world revolution—a revolution against war and racism and materialism, a revolution based on human solidarity and love, cooperation and the common good —must win.

We begin by releasing our most hopeful dreams and our most radical imaginations: a better world is both possible and necessary.

"a better world is both possible and necessary"

Looks to me like Bill Ayers stole (or borrowed) this phrase from Bob Avakian, chairman of the Revolutionary Communist Party. Both the Weather Underground and RCP have roots in the radical Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) organization.

"The following is an excerpt from an historic talk by [Revolutionary Communist Party] Chairman Bob Avakian, soon to be available on video and DVD from Three Q Productions-REVOLUTION: Why It's Necessary, Why It's Possible, What It's All About. This talk, delivered in 2003, followed by questions and answers, is a wide- ranging revolutionary journey, covering many topics."

ALL GOP talking heads have to start using subtle phrases in all Obama references. Such as “Obama worked closely with Ayers on the Annenberg Project” rather than just saying “hangs around with a terrorist”. That causes O and the MSM to either ignore it or address the AP.

Same with Rezko, foreign money.

There is a narrative here if they can pull it together. Obama’s career was propped up by ACORN, Rezko and Ayers, now foreign money Obama won’t identify is funding his run to the White House.

Using specific, but factual phrases forces the MSM and O to either bring it up and get deeper into the quicksand, or let it go unchallenged.

The key will be whether McCain launches into this directly in the debate, or is going to let it develop through Palin and the ads.

The problem is that Palin, McCain and the surrogates must learn the details of all the connections rather than just be given a couple of lines. There are huge counter punches to be landed here, if someone in the McCain campaign is actually paying attention.

They need 3-4 people doing NOTHING but scouring the internet and records and talking to people like Stanley Kurtz and getting an accurate timeline and maybe uncover a nice little nugget of info or video. Surely they are doing that......

THE AUDACITY OF TRUTH ABOUT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA

ETL posted the following on another thread HERE

Everyone should be made aware of this damning information:

IT'S NOT BECAUSE HE'S BLACK It's about 20 years of Jeremiah. It's about His Muslim Faith.

"Muslim faith"? Black Liberation Theology is MARXIST, plain and simple. Rev Wright is a Marxist! So is Farrakhan.

Sorry for those of you who've seen this before, but since some of us apparently STILL don't get it, it obviously needs to posted again.

"America’s chickens... are coming home... to ROOST!"

The Real Story Behind Rev. Wright's Controversial Black Liberation Theology Doctrine
Monday , May 5, 2008
FoxNews/Hannity's America
[special Friday night edition--original airdate May 2, 2008]

(some key excerpts)

["(Jose) Diaz-Balart is the son of Rafael Diaz-Balart y Guitierrez (a former Cuban politician). He has three bothers, Rafael Diaz-Balart (a banker), Mario Diaz-Balart (a US Congressman) and Lincoln Diaz-Balart (also a US Congressman). His aunt, Mirta Diaz-Balart, was Fidel Castro's first wife."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jose_Diaz-Balart]

JOSE DIAZ-BALART, TELEMUNDO NETWORK: "Liberation theology in Nicaragua in the mid-1980's was a pro-Sandinista, pro-Marxist, anti-U.S., anti-Catholic Church movement. That's it. No ifs, ands, or buts. His church apparently supported, in the mid-'80s in Nicaragua, groups that supported the Sandinista dictatorships and that were opposed to the Contras whose reason for being was calling for elections. That's all I know. I was there.

I saw the churches in Nicaragua that he spoke of, and the churches were churches that talked about the need for violent revolution and I remember clearly one of the major churches in Managua where the Jesus Christ on the altar was not Jesus Christ, he was a Sandinista soldier, and the priests talked about the corruption of the West, talked about the need for revolution everywhere, and talked about 'the evil empire' which was the United States of America."

REV. BOB SCHENCK, NATIONAL CLERGY COUNCIL: "it's based in Marxism. At the core of his [Wright's] theology is really an anti-Christian understanding of God, and as part of a long history of individuals who actually advocate using violence in overthrowing those they perceive to be oppressing them, even acts of murder have been defended by followers of liberation theology. That's very, very dangerous."

SCHENCK: "I was actually the only person escorted to Dr. Wright. He asked to see me, and I simply welcomed him to Washington, and then I said Dr. Wright, I want to bring you a warning: your embrace of Marxist liberation theology. It is contrary to the Gospel, and you need, sir, to abandon it. And at that he dropped the handshake and made it clear that he was not in the mood to dialogue on that point."

"On May 1st, May Day [1969], the day of the gigantic Free Huey rally, two of Alioto's top executioners vamped on the brothers from the Brown Community who were attending to their own affairs. These brothers, who are endowed with the revolutionary spirit of the Black Panther Party defended themselves from the racist pig gestapo.

Pig Joseph Brodnik received his just reward with a big hole in the chest. Pig Paul McGoran got his in the mouth which was not quite enough to off him.

The revolutionary brothers escaped the huge swarm of pigs with dogs, mace, tanks and helicopters, proving once again that "the spirit of the people is greater than the man's technology."

Obama's Church: Gospel of Hate
Kathy Shaidle, FrontPageMag.com
Monday, April 07, 2008

In March of 2007, FOX News host Sean Hannity had engaged Obama’s pastor in a heated interview about his Church’s teachings. For many viewers, the ensuing shouting match was their first exposure to "Black Liberation Theology"...

Like the pro-communist Liberation Theology that swept Central America in the 1980s and was repeatedly condemned by Pope John Paul II, Black Liberation Theology combines warmed-over 1960s vintage Marxism with carefully distorted biblical passages. However, in contrast to traditional Marxism, it emphasizes race rather than class. The Christian notion of "salvation" in the afterlife is superseded by "liberation" on earth, courtesy of the establishment of a socialist utopia.

Catholics for Marx
By Fr. Robert Sirico
FrontPageMagazine.com | Thursday, June 03, 2004

In the days when the Superpowers were locked in a Cold War, Latin America seethed with revolution, and millions lived behind an iron curtain, a group of theologians concocted a novel idea within the history of Christianity. They proposed to combine the teachings of Jesus with the teachings of Marx as a way of justifying violent revolution to overthrow the economics of capitalism.

The Gospels were re-rendered not as doctrine impacting on the human soul but rather as windows into the historical dialectic of class struggle. These "liberation theologians" saw every biblical criticism of the rich as a mandate to expropriate the expropriating owners of capital, and every expression of compassion for the poor as a call for an uprising by the proletarian class of peasants and workers.

From the New York Times, April 28, 2008
Reverend Wright at the National Press Club
"In the late 1960s, when Dr. James Cone's powerful books burst onto the scene, the term 'black liberation theology' began to be used. I do not in any way disagree with Dr. Cone, nor do I in any way diminish the inimitable and incomparable contributions that he has made and that he continues to make to the field of theology. Jim, incidentally, is a personal friend of mine."
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/04/28/us/politics/28text-wright.html?_r=1&ref=politics&oref=sloginL

From Jeff Head's website...
One notable quote from [James] Cone describing his Black Liberation Theology is as follows:

"Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community ... Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love." - "Divine Racism: The Unacknowledged Threshold Issue for Black Theology", in African-American Religious Thought: An Anthology, by William R Jones, ed Cornel West and Eddie Glaube (Westminster John Knox Press).

HANNITY: But Reverend Jeremiah Wright is not backing down and has not for years and in his strong stance on the teaching of black liberation theology is nothing new. He had the same things to say last spring when he appeared on "Hannity & Colmes:"

WRIGHT: If you're not going to talk about theology in context, if you're not going to talk about liberation theology that came out of the '60s, systematized black liberation theology that started with Jim Cone in 1968 and the writings of Cone and the writings of Dwight Hopkins and the writings of womynist theologians and Asian theologians and Hispanic theologians, then you can't talk about the black value system.

HANNITY: But I'm a — reverend

WRIGHT: Do you know liberation theology, sir?

Was their last project supposedly the Woods Fund connection that ended in 2002. Why would they be in communication up to 2005? Of course, I think they have had more recent contact but since LaBolt admitted this much...

Un real how the media and even people whom I thought were our side like Peggy Noonan have come out hard against Sarah. CNN and AP are calling Palin a racist and that she flatly wrong about Obama’s connection to Ayers.

Peggy Noonan says it was wrong for her to say what she did.

Funny isn’t it where the U of I would not release the Annenberg papers...initially...then a few weeks pass and they release them.

The file on Obama was paper thin. Paper thin.

My friends, I think it’s clear that Obama has much to hide.

During Obama's last year on the board of The Woods Fund (2002), he participated in awarding grants, including a $70,000 grant to the Arab American Action Network, a Chicago-based group founded by Rashid and Mona Khalidi.

In another suspected quid pro quo arrangement similar to those with Ayers and Rezko, Rashid Khalidi also held a fundraising event in his home for Barack Obama.

In the Middle East, Rashid Khalidi was known as a man to be reckoned with. From 1972 through 1983, Khalidi was the director in Beirut of the official Palestinian press agency, FAFA. His wife worked there as well.

According to sources, when the Khalidi's left Chicago for Columbia University in New York, Rashid was honored with the Edward Said Chair in Arab Studies at that Ivy League university. Their goodbye party in Chicago included testimonials from Bill Ayers and Barack Obama.

Cllr. McGibbon said,
"It’s a fantastic experience for me as a young Republican. We discussed the Irish struggle and the current situation in Palestine, as well as various social issues of importance in Ireland and downtown Chicago."
The workshop was held in a community centre in downtown Chicago, run by the Arab American Action Network but attended by young people from various different sections of the community. The work shop was made up of young women from the Chicago area, many of whom are of Palestinian descent.
Cllr. McGibbon continued,
"It was extremely interesting to explore the parallels, the similarities and even some differences in the situation in Palestine and the history of the Irish Struggle. I'd like to add a little bit from
Obama worked with terrorist

JERUSALEM – The board of a nonprofit organization on which Sen. Barack Obama served as a paid director alongside a confessed domestic terrorist granted funding to a controversial Arab group that mourns the establishment of Israel as a "catastrophe" and supports intense immigration reform, including providing drivers licenses and education to illegal aliens.

The co-founder of the Arab group in question, Columbia University professor Rashid Khalidi, also has held a fundraiser for Obama. Khalidi is a harsh critic of Israel, has made statements supportive of Palestinian terror and reportedly has worked on behalf of the Palestine Liberation Organization while it was involved in anti-Western terrorism and was labeled by the State Department as a terror group.

*End of quote*

There is not just Ayres, this guy is on the list of terrorists that Obama has worked with.
